Bonnie slowly walked to her car, each step exhausting and sending new waves of pain echoing from her feet. When she finally got inside her car and closed the door, she sat there for a long moment. Then the tears came strolling down her face, and though they were unbidden, Bonnie didn’t stop them. Instead, a sob broke through her lips as she placed her forehead on her steering wheel, her body already shaking.

Della Brought This Upon Herself
Della stared into the mirror, looking for any mishaps, like a lock of hair sticking out unattractively or a part of her dress bunched up against her stomach. But after seemingly minutes of meticulously searching, Della could only see that her French ponytail was perfect. Her dress wasn’t bunched up at all and fit her body perfectly. She only had mascara on, and it accentuated her eyes wonderfully. She looked great and fit for a ball.

Julie Clary, Imperial Princess
Julie looked at the mirror with horror that grew with every second. She was in a beautiful white dress, embroidered with silver and gold, with a low neckline and a high waist. Julie wore earrings that matched and to complete the ensemble, there was a gold coronet on top of her dark hair. As her maids told her, she was beautiful and looked like the princess she was.

Walter Robinson 5 waited with a wide smile as he stood behind three other clones in the checkout line, with a single pack of diet Oreos in his basket. To think that he got pulled off work just because his fat--his handsome supervisor had a sudden and understandable craving for Oreos but knew he needed to be healthy. Walter Robinson 5 should be feeling grateful that he got the opportunity to help his supervisor get food that would consume his calories.

Eva’s eyes widened before she ducked her head. “Stay still,” Mom criticized her, sounding more harsh than usual. Eva stopped herself from flinching because she understood. Something was wrong with Dad. They wouldn’t tell her what, but they tested her blood not long ago. The three of them were now waiting in the hospital for the results. What results they were hoping for, they didn’t tell her either. Eva would ask but her parents got annoyed when she asked questions. Maybe they wanted to see if she had what Dad had? No...that didn’t sound like them. It didn’t sound like any adult Eva had met in her life to be concerned about her, about any child clone. She doubted even Johnathan Apple, who created the Genesis Flower, would care about them.

“In and out,” Wendy mumbled as she walked briskly into Walmart. “Just get in and get out.” Usually Wendy liked not to rush herself when grocery shopping, but time was running out. She had promised to make her friend lasagna tonight only to realize ten minutes ago that her roommate took the can opener with her when she left. And Wendy brought the canned sauce. Luckily, she had a feeling that this might have been the case so she checked for it before she actually started the lasagna. But lasagna took a long time to cook and it was her first time making it.
