Ever since discovering Roald Dahl, I wanted to be an author who would delight and move her readers through her stories. I also wrote my debut novel, "Of Demons and Deception" on Amazon.

The Case of the Stone Killer . Top Story - February 2025.
Percy’s breaths were heavy but quiet as he quickly checked his gun chamber one more time. Empty. He knew it but seeing it...made his situation all the more dire and hopeless. And there were no more bullets on his person, Percy checked. Three times. He should have been careful when shooting at the Stone Killer earlier. He really should have. But...there had been people behind him. Innocent civilians who would have been her next victims if Percy hadn’t intervened. It was his duty as a police detective to protect them, and Percy would never shirk from that duty. He didn’t regret his decision, he just wished that at least one of the bullets had hit her.

A Christmas Miracle
Nadia sniffled as she lay underneath the covers, her little body curled up and her arms wrapped tightly around her legs. She had been like this for who knew how long, and despite her parents wishing her a good night’s sleep, Nadia knew she wasn’t going to sleep tonight. And things wouldn't get better tomorrow. Because only a few hours ago, she had lost her precious doll, Raggedy Ann. The doll had originally been her grandma’s, then her mom’s before it got handed down to Nadia. She loved Raggedy Ann and Nadia always played with her, even when she was playing with her other toys. Nadia even tried to bring her to school a few times, only to get caught at the door or the bus stop in front of their house.

Lights and Marshmallows
Maria could see how the night sky was riddled with stars safe and warm through the living room window. She was at her grandparents’ house, which was thankfully near her family’s place, so they visited a lot. Especially during Christmas time when many of her cousins and their families would also come to visit. Her grandparents not only had a huge front yard and backyard but their property was secluded by trees so she and her cousins were able to run around without fear of being disturbed by nosy neighbors. Maria was having a great time this Christmas, even though as usual, there wasn’t a speck of snow on the ground despite the season.

Dear Reviewers. Top Story - November 2024.
Dear Reviewers, Yes my dear reviewers, I realized that I may be technically cheating for this challenge, since I am writing a letter for more than one person, not just one. But the rules for the challenge never said I couldn’t write to more than one person, so here we go.

The Missing Crown
The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished. At first, the people of Wissoria did not panic. They only mourned their beloved Queen since the river’s unnatural behavior was a sign that their ruler had died in the past. But then the news went out that their current Queen had been attacked and kidnapped. And that was what caused the Wissorians to start panicking.
