There are many wonderful songs about tears, river, seas, oceans, sailing, and anything to do with something wet. I think you will enjoy these.

“Sailing on the Seven Seas” is a song recorded by the English electronic music band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). It came out as a single in 1991 and is featured on their album Sugar Tax. It became the band’s highest-charting UK hit. The song pays homage to various rock groups.

"Sea of Heartbreak" is a song written by Paul Hampton and Hal David and recorded by the American songwriter and country musician Don Gibson in 1961. The song charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.  A memorable version was recorded by the American singer and songwriter Johnny Cash.

“Into the Mystic” is a song that was written by Northern Irish singer and songwriter Van Morrison. It is featured on his 1970 album Moondance.It was played as Jim and Michelle's first dance as a married couple in the 2003 movie “American Wedding.”

“Smoke on the Water” is a song that was recorded by the English rock band Deep Purple. It is featured on their 1972 album Machine Head. The lyrics of the song are based on true events about the fire at Montreux Casino in Montreux, Switzerland. It became the band’s signature song. In 2017 it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

“Fire Lake” is a song that was written and recorded by the American singer and songwriter Bob Seger. It is featured on his 1980 album Against the Wind. The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Blue Bayou” is a song that was written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson. It was recorded by the American singer and songwriter Roy Orbison. In 1977 a version was recorded by the American singer Linda Rondstadt, and it became her signature song.

“Come Sail Away” is a song that was recorded by the American rock band Styx. It was written and sung by the singer and songwriter Dennis DeYoung. The song is featured on their 1977 album The Grand Illusion. The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became one of the biggest hits for the band.

“A Teardrop to the Sea” is a song that comes from the American rock band Bon Jovi’s album Burning Bridges. The album featured twin lead singles "We Don't Run" and "Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning". The songs "Blind Love" and "A Teardrop to the Sea" were digitally released on August 7, 2015.

“Rivers of Babylon” is a Rastafarian song that was written and recorded by Brent Dowe and Trevor McNaughton of the Jamaican reggae group The Melodians. The lyrics were adapted from the texts of the Bible Psalms 19 and 137 in the Hebrew Bible. In 1978 the song was popularized by the reggae, funk, and disco music group Boney M and was awarded a platinum disc.

“Bridge Over Troubled Water” is a song that was recorded by the American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. It is featured on their final album of the same name. The song became one of their greatest hits. The song was written by Paul Simon and features lead vocals by Art Garfunkel. It won five awards at the 13th Annual Grammy Awards, among them Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

“The Tide is High” is a 1967 song written by John Holt and originally performed by the Jamaican group The Paragons. When the American rock band Blondie recorded their version in 1980 it became a number one hit in both the US and the UK.
