Things You Can't Say Eight. Content Warning.
When I wake up later, I’m completely alone in our big bed. Our room is dark. Much darker than I remembered it being when I closed my eyes. Since Master had left the light on before we crawled into our bed together. At least that’s what I remember. Getting to my hands and knees, I looked around for any signs of Master. Listening carefully as I tried to think of what time it was. With how dark it was it had to be late. Super late. Maybe midnight? If only I could spot the alarm clock that he had on his nightstand. When I did, I froze. The clock said eleven-thirty. Much later than I thought it was going to be. Why did he let me sleep this long for?

Never Let It In
I was yanked out of a dead sleep from a knock at the door. My heart pounded in my ears as I sat up. Trying to figure out if I had dreamed of the noise or if it were really happening. Before I could even begin to calm my heart, I heard the knock again. Louder and more frantic. It is almost as if the person on the other side of the door desperately needed my assistance at that exact second.

Enmity
The days leading up to Hannah’s funeral weren’t exactly normal. Then again no one expected the former prom queen to die how she did. Face first into a woodchipper. Not the best way to die. Nor is it anticipated ever. Yet that’s exactly what happened to the prom queen of 2011.

Eternal Childhood
It was odd being here. In this mausoleum so early in the morning. The place was dusty and hadn't seen many visitors. As far as Claire could tell there hadn't been. Thanks to the fact there weren't many footprints aside from theirs. Looking down at the small coffin, she shivered. The thing was covered in large rocks. Ones that an adult wouldn't be able to move. Much less a dead child. It was rather disturbing in her eyes to see. Why would a parent request this for their daughter? Quietly, she asked,"So, do you know who's in this? And why they're here?"

Going Home Alone. Top Story - August 2025.
This all started last week, I was walking home from my mother’s house. We ate dinner together and watched a movie like we do every other weekend. This weekend I picked a movie from my childhood, 'Halloweentown’. As I had been feeling sort of nostalgic these past few months. Among other things that I had been doing to regain the feelings that I had for Halloween. It had been difficult these past few months as well and well…reliving these feelings had been a childhood comfort.

Things You Can't Say seven. Content Warning.
Well, the movie is as terrible as I expect it to be. The whole thing feels like it’s just supposed to be some kind of torture porn. Or something to that effect. As all that happens is pain and misery to me. Sure, the guy in the movie isn’t exactly an angel. But the things that had happened to him feel over the top. Just thanks to the way that she messed with this guy’s head. Along with the other terrible things that she had done. Hurting people. Murdering them as well. Like her best friend that her boyfriend cheated on her with. It was terrifying to see crap that was on screen. I’m no stranger to violent horror movies. But this movie wasn’t up my alley at all. The number of terrible things she had done were outright disgusting to watch. The way she killed that poor innocent rat.

Keep To The Trail. Content Warning.
During my days off from work, I like to take long walks. Normally, I put in my earbuds and just stare straight ahead. Listening to a book that I have downloaded onto my phone. Or a playlist that I have as well. Today, I still had my earbuds in. And I was listening to my favorite Halloween playlist. But I was paying much more attention to my surroundings this time around.
