I watch as you go,

And I stand to follow.

I think you’re someone I know,

This information is hard to swallow.

____________________________

Trying hard to keep pace,

You’re faster than you look.

I barely even see your face,

Like a bad picture that I took.

____________________________

Twenty spaces behind you,

You’re not even tired.

I wish I was in shape too,

I feel like I’m expired.

__________________________

Down another street,

You take a left turn.

Barely still on my feet,

My lungs really burn.

__________________________

You were not there,

I had completely lost you.

Vanished in thin air,

Where did you go to?

________________________

Then you were next to me,

My masculine twin.

It was strange to see,

Me become him.
