What If You Were Forced to Stop Living in a Fast-Paced Routine?
On September 1, a sudden power interruption occurred, lasting for nearly a few hours in our town. It’s quite funny because being a fresh graduate with so much time in the world, I was stressing about how to plan for what’s coming next. I’m sure to go out-of-country this year so I made it firm that I shouldn’t try applying for a job within our area if it’s certain that they won’t be seeing the newly hired for two months or so.

Why Guilt Is the Initial Feeling of People Who Were with a Loved One Who Passed Away. Content Warning.
A person I know confessed feeling guilty about being there when her nephew, unfortunately, didn’t make it out of the hospital only weeks after he was born. From what I remember, her sister was working so she attended in her place at the hospital. In the moment of critical decision-making that the hospital staff bestowed on her, acting fast was necessary. The operation had to be done and she did what was utmost best in the situation. After all, being laid in a position of judgment and authority for a life-changing decision was almost always consequently preceded by feelings of regret or uncertainty. But amidst all that also is the strength of emotion and utter faith that your decision was an intention meant to save a life.

Photography as It Taught Me a Secret to Finding Happiness Within
In my ongoing retrieval of memories from the late 2010s and categorizing them in specific portfolios, I found myself appreciating the work I did as someone who does photography well.

I Was Grateful for Being Alive at 11 Years Old
I’ve had an interesting occurrence happen to me when I was on a recollection along with my classmates. It was the first time we were separated from our parents for more than a day. The recollection was a requirement before graduating from primary school so, we were 11–12 year-olds having a once-in-a-lifetime experience in a sanctuary governed by religious ordinations as students from a private catholic school.

Teenagers Being More Emotional than Other Age Groups Isn’t a Trend, It’s a Phase of Life
Many times I would hear adults over 25 say that students should cherish the time spent at school with friends, doing home works and performing school tasks but, they don’t explicitly say that adulting is all about paying bills, saving up, working 12 hours in shift, going home exhausted and you still have house chores waiting at home. I’m not saying this because I could relate well with the adults. Other than my graduation happening this week, I was hoping to finish the compilation of my photography portfolio.

You Have to Choose What Influences You and What to React On
I have been keen on being proactive in my undertakings. I was shaped that way through rigorous adaptations to source control beyond my diagnosed condition. I’m still taking maintenance meds for Bipolar but it’s reasonable to make it a goal to stop the medicine when things are all well — that I hope comes soon.

I Made Myself into a Role Model by Being Proactive
Why do people like to think of someone else as a role model? Growing up I was obsessed with picking someone to idolize, to find attractive qualities in a person, and to allow myself to envision life emulating their characteristics. But, I didn’t get it.

What It Pays to Be Curious of the World, Its Processes, and the People Around Us
I told my Dad to buy me this desk calendar because it felt like it could come in handy. The calendar was relatively simple and aesthetic in its function. The main thing I used it was to cross out each passing day. The biggest factor that gave out to my impulse to buy it was the specific quotes written beside each month, all varying on a theme that is specific to the season.

Why We Don’t Understand How to Be Comfortable with Spending Money
One of the things I don’t understand is K-pop. Another is comfortably spending money. I believe many people could relate to the latter more than the former, and today of all things to spend money on, I used it to buy concert tickets to a K-pop group’s fan concert tour. (tickets with an “s” because my Dad sponsored half the price which I’ll get into a short while.)
