20 Feel Good Quotes for Women of All Ages
Day 12/366 days of writing an publishing pieces in 2024. Being a woman can be challenging at times. Throughout our lives, we may go through experiences that push us to our limits. Whether it's healing from a divorce, embarking on a new journey with uncertainty, transitioning out of a long-term career and feeling lost, or going through spiritual growth, there are moments when we lose sight of our true selves. As a life coach, I too need reminders every now and then. Here are some of my favorite quotes that have empowered me over the years:

Edgy Disdain
Day 7/366 days of writing and publishing articles in 2024. A few days ago, I found myself immersed in the creation of a background for a painting that I plan to exhibit in an upcoming show at a wine shop. I had no idea where I would end up while I was working on the background. While I had been painting beautiful pieces inspired by wines I deeply appreciate, an unconventional idea struck me - why not create a piece for a wine I despise? It was during a session of listening to a funky bassline that the concept of "funk" took on a new meaning.

From Cocktails to Dreams
Day 6/366 days of writing and publishing articles in 2024. I wanted to bartend. I kept imagining what it would be like. The movie "Cocktail" came out when I was in 8th grade, and I wanted to have Tom Cruise's life. I became a bit obsessed with wanting to bartend. I wanted to live in exotic places and make money. I kept that idea in the back of my mind and never let go of it.

"Wine, Art, and Funky Basslines: A Harmonious Trio of Senses"
Day 3/366 days of publishing articles in 2024 There's something for everyone. There's someone for everyone also. This morning I was working on this vibrant background for a painting I'm hoping to include in a series for an upcoming show at this wine shop. It's still in the early stages, so I'm not sure if it'll make the cut, but we'll see. Anyway, the idea for this painting came to me while I was jamming to some funky music. You can listen the song that inspired it all here. I don’t even know how many times I played it on repeat. I love how music inspires the most random things when I’m painting. The bassline was extra groovy, and for some inexplicable reason, it made me think about how much I absolutely despise New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine. I mean, that stuff is funky, but not in a good way like the bassline. It's funky in a "hold your nose and run away" kind of way.

Unleashing Untapped Potential: The Power of Fun in Challenging Yourself
Day 2/366 days of publishing articles in 2024. I looked at the date as I was programming my client's workout and realized his birthday was the day before, a milestone - 60 years old. I thought to myself, "Let me make this epic." He’s always down for trying new things so I thought he’d appreciate the extra thought. He hadn't been in for over a week because of the Christmas holiday and travel. As I started mapping out his workout and sharing my plans with a colleague, I couldn't help but get excited. "He's going to do a total body workout, and I'm thinking 60 reps of every exercise, only doing one set and making them drop sets," I explained. "Sweet," my colleague replied, appreciating my creative approach.
