The Chosen One

Day 11/366 days of writing an publishing pieces in 2024. (Day 10 was not approved. It happens).

In a realm where dreams and fascination bloom,

A story unfolds, of a white peacock plume.

A feather rare, adorned with astonishing grace,

Symbolizing a love, a deep destined embrace.

This feather, a sign of the chosen one,

A love interest, a Union that can never be undone.

Its pristine white, a delicate purity,

Reflecting his essence, his profound rarity.

With every stroke of his elegant hues,

He paints the world with love, as he chooses.

In an ocean of ordinary, he stands apart,

An embodiment of passion, a work of art.

Oh, the chosen one, so captivatingly rare,

With every glance, hearts entwine in a love affair.

His presence, a symphony that dances on the breeze,

Whispering secrets of love, as the heart feels pleased.

He carries an energy, a magnetism untold,

Enchanting all hearts, young and old.

His eyes, like windows, reveal a sacred fire,

Igniting souls, fulfilling their deepest desire.

The white peacock feather, a token of devotion,

A mark of a love, bound by destiny's notion.

It waltzes gently, as if whispering his name,

A testament to a love that will forever remain.

For in this world of chaos and despair,

The chosen one, a ray of light, is rare.

He holds the power to heal, to soothe,

A love that transcends, uplifting one’s mood.

Oh the chosen one,

Whose love is as vibrant as the morning sun.

May his presence forever grace the hearts of all,

As a symbol of love,that evokes a true call.

As the white peacock feather dances to the song,

May it remind us of a love so deep and strong.

For in this world, where love is yet to find,

May we all be chosen, and forever intertwined.

***A little bit about this piece. I painted a whole series of Peacock feather paintings in 2022. They were called the “Beautiful Masculine” series. I noticed as I was painting them each one was telling me a story. My art does that sometimes. I listen to music then the music is conveyed in the painting and then when I stare at the painting the lyrics to the painting then form. I was listening to a playlist I created on Spotify called Desire as I painted this. I just let it play on repeat and then everything manifested from there.
