My Review of "The Naked Gun (2025)"
The Naked Gun (2025) was a very unexpected sequel to the franchise. It's quite odd as everyone from the original movie has already passed away. They decided to continue on with the legacy of the original franchise. There are a fun things they did with this movie but ultimately it didn't gel together so nicely with me. I can see how others can enjoy this movie though.

My Review of "Superman III"
Superman III came out in 1983 and in a way it was forward thinking. Unfortunately, that forward thinking didn't really translate to a good entry into the franchise. I'm so disappointed because the first two movies were actually pretty good. This movie doesn't even focus that much on Superman. It's a shame because this movie doesn't know what it wanted to be. They added a whole slop full of stuff onto a board and just made that movie.

My Review of "Running Point: Season One"
Running Point: Season One is a surprising TV show for me. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. They hooked me in with a fish out of water tale in sports. Then they reeled me in with the family dynamics of the team as well as the zany family behind the team. It's not meant to be a high concept show. I wouldn't say it's at the same level as Ted Lasso because they actually go deeper into the sport. This is more at the surface level with feel good scenarios.

My Review of "Happy Gilmore 2"
Happy Gilmore 2 is an unexpected sequel to a very loved movie. It's almost 30 years from the first movie and I don't think anyone expected a sequel for this movie. Of course, Netflix, the kings of sequels we never expected, had to intervene. Despite everyone's worry, I think this is everything they would have expected for the sequel.

My Review of "The Muppets Take Manhattan"
The Muppets Take Manhattan is a Muppets movie that came out back in 1984. I only became a fan of the Muppets way later on in my life because I never understood the fun with this franchise. Only later on in my life did I understand the nuances and double entendres sprinkled throughout their shows. As a kid I thought it was just a bunch of puppets for kids. It's much more than that.

My Review of "The Fantastic Four: First Steps"
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is the latest Marvel movie to come out in 2025. It feels somewhat of a comback for Marvel this year. I really liked their Thunderbolts movie that came out earlier this year. It really seems as though they're following a new motto, quality over quantity. This movie is certainly good but maybe it wasn't for me.

My Review of "Ocean's Eleven (2001)"
Ocean's Eleven (2001) is a movie I thought was really cool back when it first came out. I loved this movie and I was worried that my impressions of this movie would change over time. Watching it closer to 25 years later, it is just as great as I remembered it. That kind of shows you how timeless this classic really is.

My Review of "The Bear: Season 4"
The Bear: Season 4 is one of my most anticipated TV seasons of 2025. Every season seems to top itself by surprising us with its creativity. Just when you think there's nothing left up their sleeves they come up with this season. This season is just as good as the other seasons but it becomes a little melodramatic at the end.

My Review of "Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut"
Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut is an edited version of the theatrical release. I never saw the theatrical release but I thought the director's cut has to be better than the original, right? Although I have never seen the theatrical cut, I have seen the first movie. It took me a while but I eventually warmed up to this movie. Curiosity got the best of me and I had to check this one out.

My Review of "Love on the Spectrum U.S.: Season One"
Love on the Spectrum U.S.: Season One is one of the last TV shows I would have seen myself watching. I rarely get into reality shows and even more rarely get into dating shows. There's something about this show that caught my curiosity. Usually when they have reality dating shows you see impossibly beautiful people searching for love. These are more relatable individuals. There are obvious reasons why they have issues and I was curious how they'd get paired up.

My Review of "Squid Game: Season 2"
Squid Game: Season 2 has been out since 2024. With the new season finishing it up. I decided it was time I can finally check it out. This works perfectly because season 2 is actually more like half a season than a full season. I don't have to wait a full year to see how it ends.

My Review of "Superman (1978)"
Superman (1978) is a movie that I wanted to get into many times in my life. I tried to when I was younger and then tried to again when I was older. This movie kept making me fall asleep and it was hard to get through it. Now that I'm understanding a little bit more of the lore and had fun with the latest instalment, I wanted to check this out yet another time. This time it was a lot better.
