My Review of "The Terminator"
The Terminator is a horror movie that came out in 1984. This is the movie that kickstarted a huge franchise. I've seen a lot of those sequels before this one and they were kind of hit and miss. It kind of sucks that I'm watching this for the first time after knowing all the spoilers from watching the sequels. Still, it sort of works out sort of like a Star Wars thing when you go back to the prequel after you know the story.

My Review of "Scream 3"
Scream 3 is the third installation of an interesting franchise. It came out 25 years ago and the only thing that shows its age is the mechanics of how this movie was made. For the most part it is a fun and competent movie. The problem is that it is mostly forgetable. There are a few portions that stand out in this movie but it's nothing will stick with me for a long time.

My Review of "Sisu"
Sisu is a ridiculous action movie that came out in 2022. It's so over the top that it is at times very cartoonish. That's what a lot of us are kind of looking for with action movies though. If you're a fan of the John Wick movies then this movie is right up your alley. In some ways it's very similar to that franchise but set in a different time period and location.

My Review of "Thunderbolts*"
Thunderbolts* is a super hero team movie that seemingly came out of nowhere. In my thoughts of Captain America: Brave New World, I thought that you had to keep up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to understand their movies now. This movie proves that you don't have to. Although there are a ton of references to the MCU, it isn't necessary to know everything before going into this one.

My Review of "Captain America: Brave New World"
Captain America: Brave New World sort of opens up this new era in the Marvel cinematic universe (MCU). It feels like there was some sort of reset that still feels like it's in the same universe as its previous movies. There are some drawbacks to the fact that it's a product of the MCU. You will get a little lost watching this movie if you haven't kept up with the rest of the movies and TV shows.

My Review of "The Maltese Falcon"
The Maltese Falcon is a mystery film that came out in 1941. I remember seeing this when I was younger. At the time, I thought it was pretty clever and fun. Maybe after all this time, this film would still be able to entertain me. It's been so long that I forgot all about it, so it's like seeing it for the first time again.

My Review of "Titanic"
Titanic was the biggest movie to come out back in 1997. I would say the popularity of this movie outshined the popularity of the actual disaster. People think you're referring to the movie rather than the actual ship when you talk about this title. I saw this movie way back when and frankly, I didn't like it. Maybe, after all these years, I've matured and might appreciate this movie more. In a way I do appreciate this movie a little more but it isn't one of my favorite movies.

My Review of "Lethal Weapon"
Lethal Weapon is a buddy action movie that came out back in 1987. Admittedly, I should have seen this movie a long time ago. This is the first time I've ever seen it and I'm shocked that it took me this long. It's got a little of everything that I've ever want in an action movie and more.

My Review of "Not Just a Goof"
Not Just a Goof is a documentary that came out in 2024. It's one of the most unlikely documentaries you'd expect. The movie is not terribly. It's based on the animated movie called "The Goofy Movie". I reviewed this movie 2 years ago because I was just hearing how popular it was. Little did I know, it was more popular than I thought.

My Review of "Scream 2"
Scream 2 is a horror movie that came out back in 1997. It's only a year after the first movie came out. I'm actually startled when I think back at how fast they made this movie. In some ways, I'm actually impressed that they could pull this movie off in a year. Then again, I can also see the rush job they did to get this movie up and released.

My Review of "Sinners"
Sinners is sort of a socially aware horror movie. I guess this is kind of a genre nowadays. I like the fact that they've been able to keep this movie somewhat of a mystery. Going into the movie blind is pretty fun so I won't give too much away. Needless to say, there is a lot of fun to be had but there is a bit of a slow start.

My Review of "My Neighbor Totoro"
My Neighbor Totoro is a Japanese animated movie that came out back in 1988. It's a movie that was forced upon me many times and I refused to watch it. Eventually, I did get to see it but I was much younger back then. I thought it was really boring and hated it. Many years later, I decided to give this movie another chance and I have a totally different opinion on it.
