Hideous, knife at my throat!. Top Story - November 2024.
The Knife at My Throat certainly deserves Dishonourable Mention status! Despite my instant misgivings, I stiffened my spine and bravely pressed on past the daunting title! Angieās Artefacts againā¦
Spring is almost done as I head out into the red centre of Australia for a wander amongst Kata Tjuṯaās thirty-six massive burnt orange rock domes. Setting out just after sunrise, I aim to avoid an afternoon thunderstorm and downpour. However, feet shod in sturdy hiking boots, Iām well prepared for inclement weather and slippery rocks. I keep my eyes peeled for any interesting specimens the recent rains might have exposed.

embrangle
Embrangle: to perplex or confuse Despite being a new word to me, I love the look, sound and meaning of it. The arrangement of letters remind me of a long, tangled dogās leash; itās pronunciation is almost onomatopoeic and the meaning resonates strongly.
