Trump: On NATO.
Trump during his last term in office was always pulling out of this or that. If he didn't think anything was worth the US's time or money, he pulled out. Trump famously pulled out of the nuclear agreement between the West and Iran. Trump thought the deal let Iran off the hook. So Trump pulled the US out of the deal which was championed by Obama. Trump then hit Iran with heavy sanctions which crippled its economy. The sanctions hurt ordinary Iranians more than top officials as sanctions sadly do.

Were You REALLY Surprised By The 2024 Election?
We all know what a joke our presidential elections have been for the last 12 years. It's been a bad road circus with rodeo clowns running the show, and they ONLY had a trapeze act. We keep this statement exactly as it is, and almost ALL Americans can agree with each other.

North Carolina Post-Election. Content Warning.
I live in the area of western North Carolina were Hurricane Helene hit. I've got friends and family members who could have been killed during the storm. It's a miracle that they weren't. My mother and I made it though because we live at a higher elevation. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris sent help to us right away as soon as they could. The National Guard had to wait until the fog cleared up enough for the helicopters to land safely. Providing us with much needed food, water, and emergency aid. They also sent crews to repair the roads and clear away the fallen trees. So that they could restore power and running water around the communities.

Considering possibilities after the 2024 U.S. election
I used to be so pompous and sure of everything only 10 years ago. I've changed so much, anyone who knew me then probably would think I'm an imposter. Some of the changes I made for myself, and some were forced upon me. That's difficult to explain, but not necessary for the discussion I want to have about my government, my country, the election's results, and the possibilities for our future.

Lessons of Kindness
You taught me it was important to be a good person. You spanked it into me when I was unkind with my words or swift with my fists. In rhymes and mantras you drilled phrases into my head as my default programing. They echo still in my brain as I bite my tongue when someone ripens my temper.

Life Lessons From Trump's 2nd Presidential Win
I get that there are some divided energies out there; yet on the whole the majority have spoken on the recent election of Donald J Trump into the White House. He is now officially the 47th President of the United States of America.

My Grandma & Your Grandma. Content Warning.
This will be my first post to the Swamp community. It may also be my last. If you're a friend of mine on this platform at the moment, you've probably noticed that I don't usually comment on political threads, either. There's a reason I don't spend time in this arena and this morning is a fine example.

Premier League Governance Issues: The Untold Drama of Who’s Really Running the Show
The Premier League’s Ownership Soap Opera The Premier League—a dazzling parade of world-class footballers, multi-million-dollar transfers, and, apparently, questionable governance practices. Just when you thought the action was confined to the pitch, along come revelations that add a new twist to the off-field drama. Yes, we're talking about the recent leaked messages suggesting that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman may have exerted his influence over the ownership of Newcastle United. But don’t worry, I’m sure that won’t raise any red flags about how the Premier League is being run. Nothing to see here, folks.
