Life Lessons From Trump's 2nd Presidential Win
The second time is usually easier than the first, in nearly everything.
I get that there are some divided energies out there; yet on the whole the majority have spoken on the recent election of Donald J Trump into the White House. He is now officially the 47th President of the United States of America.
Firstly, the US election (of all elections in the world) was entertaining. Popcorn optional.
Each day manifested a new surprise; some pleasant, and on the contrary, some not so pleasant that would shock anyone to the core, no matter which side you support. Or you could be a politically neutral person, and share no opinion either way.
Living in Australia, it is fair to say that the recent US elections were rather entertaining at times, even though some people in America (let alone around the world) woke up with either a huge weight lifted off their shoulders, or perhaps would begin to feel bleak about the future. Some people also likened the rallies on both sides of the camp to share high energy levels that would be expected from a musical artists concert. And yes, it felt like the campaign was dragging on at times, to the point of intensity.
Trump (once again, whether you like him or not) was able to focus on the needs and concerns of the American people (let alone many of us in the world) when it comes to the issues of borders, immigration, and the global economy (including inflation). As a by-product of conducting a follow-up phone call with one of my clients this morning (as at the time of writing); the fact is not that I was personally knocked back with the promise of some extra analytics work, however he mentioned that he is feeling more optimistic with his business as a result of Trump's win in the US Election on the 5th of November 2024. He further commented on the fact that many people are doing it tough, and commented on our high food prices in Australia; and therefore this same client of mine felt some overnight and extra optimism in the air that Trump's win could be a flow on effect in easing cost of living pressures around the world. It is fair to purport that many of us (really all of us deep down) are experiencing such. And to (hopefully) fulfil on his promises of ending key conflicts such as the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the anti-semitism around Israel and Palestine.
Humility will get you far in life, and Trump did exactly that by throwing (metaphorically speaking) "garbage" back at Biden's face. Who knew that he would wear a high vis vest at one of his rallies, and that a billionaire would be enthusiastic about working a shift at McDonald's in a swing state (Pennsylvania) that would determine the election. This shows that is he relatable to the working class, and yes it is (to a degree) clever marketing.
Trump is a successful businessman, and he really knows business. If you were "fired" in The Apprentice in his eyes; you would know how scary and confrontational he could be. He knows marketing inside out, and the way that he conducted a long and arduous campaign back into the White House was seen as an investment of time, energy, and funds into his campaign account. Remember the standing ovation for him at the recent UFC event post his felony convictions? And the imminent temporary crash of his website when people from all walks of life in America donated to his campaign in droves? I now rest my case on that. Whichever side of politics you support (or not), Trump's campaign messages and values were consistent. He found a way to sustain his energy, despite also feeling tired towards, and at the end of this election campaign. This shows that he cares, and he did not want the keys back to the White House for himself. His running mate JD Vance once saw him as an "idiot" is now respecting him more than ever, regardless of the final outcome.
Podcasts are not going to go away. If his interview with Joe Rogan is anything to go by; 65 million views for a three-hour interview is no easy feat. Trump was (and still is) a really smart character in choosing to accept those invitations, with the likes of Logan Paul, Dr Phil, and even Dave Ramsey, to only name a few. In being neutral and fair, Kamala Harris was also invited to speak, yet turned down those invitations. Why? Podcasts (and even quizzes) are the most powerful marketing methods for business people to use in saturated markets.
Speaking of which, it was a surprise to find Joe Rogan endorse Trump at the last minute. Trump was able to naturally manifest highly influential people to endorse him. It shows that you reap what you sow; especially with the case with Dana White, UFC's President. Trump helped him set up the UFC at the time (fun fact), while not expecting anything in return. Dr Phil also endorsed trump, in addition to Elon Musk surprisingly switching sides from the Democrats to the Republicans at the time. Like him or not, Elon is a tech genius. He was able to provide the right technology to help the victims of Hurricane Helene. Furthermore, John Kennedy made a massive sacrifice to drop out of the race as an Independent, as soon as he aligned with Trump's values, and thereby wanted an opportunity to work with him in the administration from January 2025 for the next four years from there.
There is nothing wrong with celebrities endorsing politicians, and they do carry positive influence to the likes of Taylor Swift endorsing Harris; yet this form of influential power did not fare so well in comparison to the support that Trump was able to manifest and garner. The support given to others needs to be authentic. Upon reflection, some of that support was authentic, while parts of it were fake for Kamala's side. If celebrities were not paid to endorse Harris and the Democratic Party; would they still endorse such? That is the million dollar question. There was 100% authenticity in Trump's support base. The enthusiasm was wild, and could be deafening.
Trump has been thrown a lot of hate, and yet he is still standing, and in remaining politically neutral; media outlets worldwide are saying that his recent election win is "one of the greatest political comebacks of all time." This is one human being who has had to take precious time away from campaigning for the hush money trials, to surviving some wild assassination attempts, with blood pouring down his right ear, with one hand clenched into a tight fist. "Fight, fight, fight." America, your 47th President is one tough and resilient human being. Resilience is a trait that all of us need in these tough times and beyond. Such is written all over his face.
And he is so bloody persistent. Remember, there was a time where he had to convince his own party to run as President again, becaue they were not so sure about him in the latter parts of 2020, for a myriad of reasons.
Only time will tell if any of us under the age of 78, for when we turn 78 will be able to match Trump's energy, determination and mission in life. And now America, lest the entire world, awaits with bated breath to see what Trump can do in his second term of the US Presidency, as such is going to have a whirlwind effect on the global economy, as well as if such intense conflicts around the world can be remedied through his leadership and administration. Not as a Trump or Harris supporter; I personally (as a current Australian resident) wish Trump and his administration every success over the next four years. And may Trump and his team be protected during that time and beyond.

I am not sure about the value of celebrity influence these days but loved the article, very insightful analysis.
There are some of us who have seen video footage of him very quickly after that "assassination" attempt with no wound on his ear who think maybe that he's not so much as persistent and strong...rather manipulative and a good actor/liar. I don't know. It was another election of two really weak choices. Just because one of them is louder at lying doesn't mean he's the better candidate. America has fallen... and honestly I think the ONLY thing I can expect from trump is that he will destroy this country further. Only time will tell if that will be a blessing or a bane. His promises of a better cost of living don't mean anything if he's starting another civil war with his butt-hole-shaped mouth that never stops spreading hubris and hate. But maybe that's what America needs. Destruction often leads to a path of renewal. So. Who knows. We just have to survive it. For now. As an American. I can say that I am truly disappointed in my countrymen and my government. Not because trump won, but because he won for a lot of wrong reasons. And a lot of those reasons were elite rich white sexist and racist men. If it had been a man going against Trump, Trump would not have won. And I'm not saying that from a 'boohoo femnist,' I'm saying that as a fact. America isn't nearly as progressive as we liked to pretend we are. Trumps victory wasn't a comeback. It was blatant sexism and racism. And no matter how neutral you paint it - America has made a very big mistake by allowing Trump to even run again. and by failing to take our OTHER elections that lead UP to a presidential election seriously. And we have let ourselves down by forgetting the point of America - and the fact that our country still hasn't learned it's lesson about facists spreading hate in positions of leadership. My countrymen are disappointing in their behavior and their utter disrespect for each other. They were so busy fighting and pissing on each other to even take the future of our country seriously. Everyone's forgotten that this is our home that we share and that we shouldn't be fighting each other. We should be protecting each other despite our differences.
Really He fight for this victory & he got it. He fight not with rivals he fight with game changer's . appreciate
