Were You REALLY Surprised By The 2024 Election?
Lets Get This Over With So I Can Think About Happier Things.
We all know what a joke our presidential elections have been for the last 12 years.
It's been a bad road circus with rodeo clowns running the show, and they ONLY had a trapeze act. We keep this statement exactly as it is, and almost ALL Americans can agree with each other.
Nothing surprises us anymore as Americans, except perhaps Kamala losing.
Really friends? You didn't see this coming? This wasn't the obvious result from the SECOND we all found out a convicted rapist was the Republican elect candidate? After they fought SO hard to demonize him after his loss in 2020 and then they turned around and let him run again? Notice how it's not Trump I'm irritated at - it's the fickle liars in our government.
I have been angry and grieving since Kamala was announced. Let's make something clear: just because I suspected what the outcome was going to be doesn't make my grief, mourning, or disappointment any less potent. I've just been feeling it longer than the rest of you, because I knew she wasn't going to win and even if she did - nothing would come of it.
Trumps Superpowers To Brain Wash A Nation
Donald Trump has a following. Not because he's good, special, or talented. I'm not someone who wants to say a single nice thing about the Cheeto King, but he's so smart it's terrifying. He knows America is full of people who are opinionated but NOT educated. Humans who are passionate about their ideas of patriotism - ignorant and inaccurate as they may be. And he's the type of person who's smart enough to manipulate humans who will flock and bleat if a shepherd promises the things that sheep think they need. And then he knows how to make them turn on each other instead of him when they become discontent.
His campaign was based on propaganda spouting on and on and about the "American Dream." The people! The people! The BLOOD OF THE COUNTRY. And this is what Trumpkins heard. They heard a man who wanted to honor America. They heard a man who had their interests at heart. A REVOLUTIONARY FOR CHANGE! Oh, our children! Our health! Our cost of living! Inflation! Our medicine! Thing's that MANY MANY MANY Americans, including me, are all VERY concerned about. Things that this country needed to address YEARS ago.
Trump's attitude, language, and technique are all very similar to one historical figure named Adolf Hitler, who used psychology as a tool to brainwash an entire nation of weak-minded individuals. Keywords and sentences carefully placed in speeches that sound positive and patriotic in nature, meant to subconciously spark the negative AND positive emotions that he wants people to resonate with him.
When he talks about bringing the same "$10k tuition benefit" to homeschooled children of America, he emphasizes his point by starting it with something that triggers emotional/mental pain: "Since ...the CHINA VIRUS..."
COVID-19 devastated America. By bringing it up in this way, calling it the "China Virus" he is reinforcing racism and fear towards another country, he's reminding us for a BRIEF .5 second interval of that pain, the fear, the loss we all experienced, REMINDING us whose fault HE thinks it is, and then carries on to his positive message of supporting homeschooled children, leaving that in our subconscious to linger while our active mind concentrates on what his "real" point was.
Now you know how gaslighting works.
His psychological sadism and covert narcissism give him the power to use the ignorance of the people he wants to garner the support of, by sublimenly resonated with their racism, sexism, or fears.
During this campaign, he changed his language from 'white supremacist,' to 'AMERICAN supremacist.' It changed his message to say: "Trump isn't a racist. He doesn't hate American minorities - he hates that Illegals are hurting our country."
That small change in his language did amazing things to his popularity. Let's be real, Trump is Lucifer Morningstar's nephilim grandchild. And while he IS evil incarnate - he's brilliant.
Let's talk about the woman who realistically had less chance than Hillary Clinton.
Kamala must have got COCKY. Looking back on her campaign, you could tell that she thought she had it in the bag. Not only was her campaign underfunded, but she barely made any effort to go to rallies or create events. She didn't make speeches or social media appearances. Her campaign was run by other people who thought exploiting her focus on racism and sexism would positively impact her campaign.
She went to ONE swing state. Like all of her eggs were in that one basket. Her interview language was passive-aggressive and full of anti-Trump sentiments. But she based most of her campaign on this sentiment - banking on it to be enough. She didn't spend enough time talking about how she was going to make America a better place to live. It was like she thought to herself: Republicans hate Trump. Americans hate Trump. Other countries hate Trump. Women hate Trump. The Minorities hate Trump. And I am everything they are asking for. I'll win this with minimal effort.
She failed to realize that not liking someone isn't a good enough reason to hire an inadequate weak leader who would only be a pawn for the people around her to use.
And if you look at her pathetic campaign website, it's obvious she did not have the funds or the time to run for the presidency.
It's a ONE-page website. The easiest and cheapest of websites to make. There are no videos of her campaigning or defining her causes, or laying out a plan for improvement for the American people.
It's just text, written by someone who was clearly not Kamala. In her active campaign, in the news, and in her speeches, she focused very very heavily on improving the middle class, protections for women and LGBQT+ communities the return of safe reproductive rights, and minimizing racism.
There was NO effort into her campaign. People began to worry - because she was only campaigning for minority groups essentially when we have a MUCH larger issue in our country: Inflation, cost of living, and wages. These issues affect everyone, ESPECIALLY some minority groups even more so. But she didn't talk about that.
I can tell you one thing, if EVERYONE in the country is starving, malnourished, homeless, and unhealthy - there's no POINT in even fighting for rights for minorities because we're ALL suffering equally. RIGHT? RIGHT!
There was no plan for financial relief and economic improvement - and that was a problem for MANY of us. There's no point in women fighting for their reproductive rights IF WE CAN'T AFFORD TO FEED OUR CHILDREN. Funny enough, the cost of living and inflation is kind of brushed over on her little sad website - maybe if she had talked about it people wouldn't have panic voted for Trump for fear of their family's welfare at the last minute.
Her campaign commercials were all about "hiding your votes from your spouses," INSTEAD of her PRESIDENTIAL AGENDA! (YES I am seething and internally screaming in frustration and rage. But I try not to feel it - because it's out of my hands).
No one knew Kamala's Agenda had this much on it because of her failure to campaign:
- Lowering the cost of rent and homeownership
- Investing in American small businesses and entrepreneurs
- Strengthen and bring down the cost of health/medical care.
- Protect and strengthen Medicare and Social Security (*I don't know about anyone else's parents, but MY mom could have used this interest!)
- She was going to start the fight against companies who PRICE GOUGE in America during economical or natural crises, protecting American consumers and workers by keeping prices FAIR no matter what the situation is (we've had TWO toilet paper crisis in America because of price gauging
- Lower the cost of higher education
- Try to invest in affordable childcare for working parents
- Lower energy costs and look at environmental problems
But we didn't hear very much about any of this. At all, now did we? We only heard a lot about all the stuff I did not bother to put on this list.
His website is powerful. Each cause on Agenda47 has a well-typed out description of what the cause was, why, and how it would be done. Each one also contained a video of him. There were multiple pages with lots of information and resources.
He marketed his campaign viciously, and that old-as-fuck-dinosaur of a man maimed himself attending as many rallies as he did. While the popular vote holds no power over the actual election, it's the defining basis of who the Electoral college MIGHT vote for. That popular vote is also the definition of how much support and power they hold over the nation's people.
It may not be definitive but it IS important. And Trump, regardless of how much I'd enjoy watching him burn given the chance - even I have to admit he EARNED his popular vote.
Kamala Harris was either arrogant or ignorant - neither are great traits of a potential leader.
Was Kamala thinking that she had in the bag? Mike Pence went on and on about how abusive, fascist, manipulative, and destructive Trump was - not just to the nation but to his coworkers and his administration during his presidency.
What should have alarmed Americans was how every single Republican who spoke AGAINST Trump pre-election race went SILENT the moment Kamala was elected, like Mike Pence. Or even the ones that FLIPPED 180 degrees: Like JD Vance - the up-and-coming VP of the USA.
Or did none of you catch that because of the social media discord and shit-talking on the book of faces you were all participating in?
Did NONE of you get the significance of the matter when JD Vance went from "I'm a Never-Trump Guy," "He's unfit for our nation's highest office," "Trump's an idiot," and "Trump is America's Hitler" to "I was wrong. I'm sorry," to "GUYS HE CHOSE ME AS VP!" That seriously didn't ring ANY conspiracy alarms? Maybe I'm just cynical.
Either the Democratic party chose someone they knew would lose the election on purpose, or they intentionally worked against Kamala as she tried to balance campaigning for the presidency and keeping up her role as current Vice President to Biden, who is rumored to need a little bit of extra care.
The Silver Lining
Trump does have a plan. He isn't the most likable character. He has alluded to some pretty dark intentions. He's evil. But he's a genius. And in many stories, evil genius makes heroes from their discord.
Regardless of whether we like him as a person, a businessman, or a ...non-politician politician, we all know Donnie makes things happen. He pretty much kept the promises he was able to keep when he was president. That much is not disputed.
For the naysayers:
- He overturned Roe, as promised.
- He started building a wall, as promised.
- He didn't take a single paycheck, as promised.
We know, as shady as his actions are, that he keeps his promises in some way, shape, or form.
So no matter in which way he dismantles or breaks our country, maybe he WILL put it back together again in a better way. Or maybe his destructive nature will force Americans into real action instead of sitting at their computers, bitching about him.
His agenda may be missing the liberal fluff that a lot of us crave - but maybe that stuff will happen naturally, after the implosion that is clearly meant to happen. Whatever he establishes, it will cause waves.
There's nothing better for uniting Americans than tragedy. Hopefully, this election will be the start of something drastic. Something that will change the way our nation runs into the favor of the majority of the people, rather than the rich and wealthy.
That's my hope. The little silver lining I've been convincing myself of as soon as I realized Kamala was set to lose this election. Maybe Trump's destructive nature will be the disinfectant that America needs. I will embrace the idea that maybe, a convicted rapist who committed treason (and will again, no doubt) is exactly the kind of disruption this nation needs to get on its feet and off its ass.
I advise everyone who is upset not to lose themselves to the stress. At the end of the day... it's just another president. We will be okay. And in another 4 years, we will get to watch another grand Circus.
America. We deserve a break in our fight against corrupted governments. Let's just enjoy our holidays, and then we will deal with January when it comes.

I've never been interested in politics but I know how much people hate Cheeto King. So I was truly shocked when he won. Now after reading your piece, I'm no longer shocked. You made such a good argument here.
Short answer: no. Long answer: I really wanted to be, but... Oh, well. America, you will get through this one...
