XL Bullie Dogs.. Content Warning.
The issue of XL Bullie dogs has been controversial. The dog as a breed has lovers and haters. To some, the dog is Frankenstein's mindless monster intent on only destruction. To others, the dog's bark is worse than its bite. It is one of those issues which will forever divide supporters and haters.

Stop Wasting Tax Money on School Busses
I rode the bus in first grade, not second grade. I rode the bus in third grade, not in fourth grade. I rode the bus in fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grade, but not in tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grades. So more than half of my public school years (7 out of 13 to be specific), I was a bus rider, while the other better years I either walked to school or drove my own car to get there. I am a high school graduate. I am an American citizen. I do NOT support school bussing.

What Brian Thompson and Luigi Mangione can teach us
In this article I will discuss what people like Brian Thompson and Luigi Mangione and even the woman that turned him in can teach us. Most of it is what we should already know. Before I begin, as in the previous article about Brian Thompson, I do not condone violence. For people bringing up eh French Revolution, they need to remember the Reign of Terror and how the French got Napoleon Bonaparte. As a person said in a move, "revolutions have a way of turning against you." This does not mean I have any sympathy for Brian Thompson and his ilk. Trust me when I tell you that his kind are only worried about losing their money and do not care about you. They are mostly made up of psychopaths, so they are incapable of feeling anything. Psychopaths tend to gravitate to positions of power and money.

Trump’s America is not Britain’s Friend
The United Kingdom stands at a precipice. As the shadows of a second Donald Trump presidency loom over the United States, the spectre of right-wing populism waits in the wings here at home. The victory of the new Labour Government on barely a third of the popular vote offers only momentary, threadbare respite. The next election will be fought in the most politically fragmented climate in our nation’s modern history. Labour are in from the cold. Keir Starmer’s party may well enjoy themselves, but it’s later than they think.

Deny, Defend, Depose...and Die?. Top Story - December 2024.
I am going to make the assumption that you have been following current events in the United States over the last week. I am going to imagine that you have some very strong opinions about what happened both on the streets of New York...and online. And I am going to assume that you will hear me out and accept my particular take on this (no trigger warnings necessary or provided).

My thoughts about the assassination of The UnitedHeathcare CEO Brian Thompson
By now almost everyone has heard of the assassination of Brian Thompson of The United Heathcare and before I begin, I want to mention I do not condone violence although I understand it may be the only means to exact change. Honestly if I knew who this guy is I would turn him in. You have to realize how unhinged a person has to be to do something like this, but this doesn't mean I do not understand why. The world can do without elite scum such as Brian Thompson that profited of suffering and death. If you look up what a psychopath is, you will learn they seek positions of power.

I'm Not Surprised with Walmart. Content Warning.
Honestly, I am not surprised with Walmart. In case you haven’t heard Walmart is supporting our soon-to-be president Donald J. Trump. Walmart has decided to part ways with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative programs. DEI is based on the idea that recruiting and supporting workers of various backgrounds is integral to a company's success, and encompasses policies and initiatives designed to help all employees feel welcomed and equipped to perform their jobs at a high level and suppliers owned by other minorities like the LGBT Community. The program was set up in 2020 after the death of George Floyd, an African American from Minneapolis, Minnesota who was kneeled by on his neck causing him to suffocate to death. Until Trumps' presidential victorious presidential win, Walmart announced that it will no longer renew a five-year commitment for racial equity.

Romania’s Democracy Died Today: Vote Until the "Right" Candidate Wins
Romania has outdone itself once again. In a spectacular display of democracy in quotation marks, the Constitutional Court has annulled the first round of presidential elections. Nine million voters? Forget them. Their votes apparently count only if they align with the powers that be. Democracy, you see, is not about expressing the will of the people. No, it’s about expressing the will of the system—on repeat, if necessary, until everyone gets it “right.”

Is Gambling a Moral or Ethical subject?
I just read an article that informed me that 5 states in the "United States of America" have made it illegal to play the lotto: Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah. Of those five, I think Nevada is the most hypocritical about it. Nevada, really? Did they forget that Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the world? Or is it simply because they don't want the lotto to compete with their casinos? Oy ve.

Is the High Street on the Brink of Collapse?
Once upon a time, the cafe in the above picture used to be buzzing. That was before the once in a hundred year pandemic that we somehow had to have. Restrictions on the number of seated customers quickly happened, and then the renaissance and convenience of online shopping happened during quarantine; a combination of need versus boredom. Online shopping was (and still is) super convenient, and payment methods such as PayPal Pay in 4 and Afterpay are all too easy to obtain online versus the high street.
