It seems every time one racially-charged incident ends, a gender or religious controversy takes its place; Ruminate on the issues dividing our nation and world.
To seek the peace and security of a world without Russia
Russia has been wrong footed in Ukraine. Its invasion plans were in disarray before it even started--its military forces simply weren't suited for the job . Half their budget is being spent on useless prestige projects like submarines and the other half is being lost to corruption. Sometimes both these factors come together disastrously for them: their advanced Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bombers are being blown out of the sky because they don't have the right type of bombs to be used like they're supposed to.

Rishi Sunak: I Wouldn't Slap Anyone.
Rishi Sunak is the richest MP in Parliament. Some criticise the Conservative Chancellor for being a billionaire and being hopelessly out of touch with ordinary people. The argument goes, that even if Mr. Sunak does care, the fact remains that because of his fortune, he will never understand the lives of the poor.

I’m not walking anything back’: Biden defends comment that Putin can’t stay in power – US politics as it happened
We know that there is no such thing as a guarantee of democracy and that no entity can be considered free. The same applies to Russia. The events in Ukraine are also a result of the failure of our Ukrainian partners to fulfill their obligations - democratic change, separation of powers and respect for human rights. They're fighting for their independence, which they cannot win against an independent Russia.

HOLDING ON
ENTERING MILITARY BASIC TRAINING IS A DECISION MADE by most women. Women are not obligated to enlist, but many do. They enlist for travel... education... socialization... a change of life direction and to support family ideal. Waking up to perform 2 a.m. guard duty is a "least worry" issue of details relegated regardless of title enlisted to. Guard duty in the frigid cold in the middle of a warm cozy night's sleep is quite different. That's a slap in the face that endures over the entire span of hours spent pacing and peering into the frozen airspace around the length of traveled way. Choke it down if you're out here for the "family ideal." You're doing it for them... the children, that lovin' man back at home or to impress mom and dad. You are there to make the difference... there, to hold the family head high as any other military family has over the decades of civil existence. You are doing a "noble thing." Open your eyes and walk.

What do Ukrainians say about this WAR
The Ukrainians are destroying themselves, without the involvement of the Russians. For several weeks now, everyone has been talking about the war in Ukraine between the Russians and the Ukrainians. Admittedly, everyone blames Russia as the biggest killer in existence, but no one knows exactly what's going on there.

Democratic Values And Freedom At Stake In Ukraine

Why Sanctions on Russia Matter
Vladimir Putin is a delusional, narcissistic psychopath. Having power is a kind of degenerative disease: the longer you have it, the more it rots your mind and disconnects you from the lived experience of ordinary people. Putin has been the President or Prime Minister of Russia since 1999.
