'Elbows up!' me hearties
I’m not a born Canadian, but have long been a citizen. I’ve never fully adopted all things Canadian as I’ve kept very much in touch with, and often visit, my home of origin. The most Canadian I’ve ever felt for all these years has been when I’m in another country and everyone assumes I’m American. Now, there’s absolutely nothing at all wrong with being American, but it kind of rankles with many who go to great lengths to ensure a red maple leaf, or the Canadian flag, is somewhere on their person or luggage.

Advice From A Stranger
The world sees the Stonewall Inn as a historical gem, the place where the gay rights movement started. Many queer people that live in the city see it as a quaint place and somewhere for everyone to meet and pregame before going to another club. Comeback
When I first started thinking about this challenge, I thought about the word renewal. The end of my 22 year marriage last year had me feeling all kinds of ways that were both dysregulating and exhausting, and my initial thought was that I should focus on rebirth, starting over as something and someone less stressed, less broken, and less worn down. My kids deserve a primary parent who can match their energy and respond to their needs with more patience, and the way things were going left me wanting to better figure out how to again be that dad that they deserve. These goals, however, didn't really seem like enough. An important baseline, perhaps, but what else could I aim for?

Myself
This is what I finally was able to write for the QVV Challenge. I want to start by saying I know saying "myself" for motivation for goals sounds selfish. However, given the shit show my health has been, especially in the last year, it is more important than ever.

Baseball Is for Everyone
I've received some positive reactions to a previous story I've recently written about the reasons why I, a gay man, loves baseball. I'll have a link to that story down below. I'm hyped up about Spring Training and the regular season.
