Beyond the Void
For as long as I can remember, a nagging void had taken up residence in my heart. It was a hollow ache that echoed through every waking moment, a constant reminder that something was amiss. I'd tried to fill it with every coping mechanism under the sun – distractions, diversions, and fleeting pleasures. But no matter how hard I tried, I always ended up back at square one, staring up at the daunting mountain of my own emptiness.

The Weight of Brokenness
As I stood there, surrounded by the fragments of shattered dreams and the echoes of forgotten laughter, I felt the weight of sadness settle upon me. It was a realization that had been creeping up on me for some time, but only now had it finally taken hold. Once people are broken in certain ways, they can never truly be fixed.
