How To Set And Achieve Your Wellness Transformation Goals
Wellness and wellness transformation is an oceanic topic because several elements in it all together make wellness a holistic aspect. At a high level, it comprises our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Take Spring Cleaning To A Whole New Level. Third Place in Good Deeds Challenge.
Daily walks have been the saving grace of many people's quarantine routines, myself included. One day I pondered about how I could make this new routine more meaningful and proactive. So, I picked up a pair of gloves and a bag before heading out to the familiar streets. Living in a small town, I wasn't expecting to come back with a bag full of litter. Yet, I did. I filled that bag up so quickly it really opened my eyes to the amount of litter around my town. After a few days cleaning up my neighborhood side streets, I decided to challenge myself to pick up litter for a whole month.

How I’m Doing 2021
2021 will hopefully be a Renaissance for all of us, even though the start of the year hasn’t been very hopeful. The vaccines have been rolling out, but I know several people who have fallen ill form it. I can’t have it until next month and my second dose in March. I will need to have it anyways if I want to travel the world again. Since travelling will be out of the question for the time being, I need to find other ways to improve myself and keep myself occupied without burning myself out. I did this a lot in 2020, and always found myself tired and exhausted and feeling like a failure when I can’t do everything at once.

Reset. Refocus.
2020 was a year I think most will agree will never be forgotten. For me, in 2020 I suffered a great loss. I'm hanging onto this rollercoaster through this journey of grief. It is a life altering experience. You almost don't know what to do or what significance your life still has. Depression takes over. You become lost within yourself. The sadness fills your world. You go through a series of emotions and you forget what is important. Anxiety takes control. Sleepless nights. Headaches of worry and fear. Frustration and anger. This is what I've been going through. No motivation to do anything. Pushing loved ones away. The disconnect from family. Wine for soothing. Overall health going downhill. Guilt for having an okay day or for almost seeming happy. I've gained so much weight from depression eating and drinking. Always feeling down.

A New Life?..
As the new year starts, so due the resolutions. Some want to lose some weight, others may want to quit smoking or go to the gym more often. For me, this year(and many to follow hopefully), my resolution is to stay clean and sober. I am an addict. I was actively using opiates for almost a decade. At first, it is new and exciting and you can't get enough.

Instead of Coffee, Smell Flowers
New years may have started for many on January 1st, but my ready-set-go started during Thanksgiving, lol. I spoke to myself like, Lioness, get it together girl! Do you really need that book from Amazon? Do you really need to buy three of everything from the grocery store, and for crying out loud, get the hell up and go run, even if it is cold as a serial killer outside!!! It’s always the mental resistance that bugs me. The resistance of just getting up to execute and not doing it. Maybe, it’s the pain, exhaustion, or just laziness that defeats me. Just do it! Just do and be without fear! What and who is stopping you but you?! My heart begins to race, my thoughts scatter, feelings become tense, anxious, and impatient, and my breathing becomes more shallow. Those are my old year symptoms.

Ever been told you should write a book, well here’s a clip
Let me start off by this is the first public sharing that I am doing. I have shared my story a few times and different chapters as well, that have already made an impact in people’s lives. So, as I asked myself why am I still here...? I have found that there really is no clear reason that I am still here because that is always changing. I do believe with all my heart that I am supposed to share my journey. In these times of uncertainty more than ever, I want to start sharing my journey. I am a fighter, a survivor, and I am irreplaceable.

Leap and Fear Will Leave You
The moment you realize that what you feared was really no big deal, you probably couldn’t believe it. While experiencing your fear, the adrenaline rush, sweaty palms, accelerated heart rate and the free-flowing tears have to mean that you can’t overcome your fear. Whatever brought change to your mind and heart, one day you decided to close your eyes, breathe slowly and take a leap.
