Why writing a book was so important to me
I had a few reasons for deciding to write a book about copywriting. The first was personal fulfilment: it was a good way to consolidate what I had learned. Secondly, professional recognition: I was looking for a new job at the time and a book is far more impressive than a CV. And finally, vanity: having an actual printed book with your name on the front feels awesome.

I Want to be Heard Vocally and in Writing
As a 29-year-old lady, I was raised from the western part of Africa “Ghana”. Growing up was not easy as a 7years old to my adult life. Life experiences has either shown me the rough tracks of life or taught me tough love but never has it been a smooth sail for me, of course I am grateful for the things I was able to receive like food, shelter and clothing however I was always missing internal joy and was very suicidal with depression issues.

I used to be a workaholic
I used to be a workaholic. I’ve been a workaholic for much of my life. Whether it was the coaching business where I attended tons of networking meetings and tried to create content and meet with prospective clients or my writing, which I would do after I got off work, I would push myself hard to always be doing something. I didn’t realize the cost of my workaholic nature until my mid-forties and it has been a steep cost that I’m still paying.

Tough times never last, only tough people last
[From the archives circa November/December 2020 but modified to reflect the present] Addressing life after a hurdle of trials feels so exposing. The weight of shame, guilt and pain is uneasy. Prayer feels embarrassing and hopeless. You just want to curl up in a ball until enough time passes to feel some sort of healing.

Focus Your Mind and Remove Negativity
Imagine if you could direct your brain strength focused like a laser on whatever you wish to achieve, then? We are distracted by so many things. Our interest in meaningless actions throw us far from a meaningful life. Every person is wanting some tricks to make it more momentous but struggles to concentrate on.

Things You Need to Know If You’re Going Through a Painful Breakup
Last year my uncle died shortly after someone I loved broke up badly. I love my whole family, but I was not really close to my uncle and I didn't know him very well, so I felt sorry for my mother and aunt more than me.

Criticism
There is always one or the other thing for which we are criticised, it can be our habits or maybe our behaviour towards people. There was a girl who was earlier very soft hearted, used to believe what people say to her, nod with a little soft smile in front of people then take everything to her heart and cry whole night. This was the routine of the girl, yes daily routine but then suddenly she became carefree, she understood everyone is a evil in someone's story and she might be someone's too. She set her free from all these criticism, mean compliments which were born from people's own self doubt. But how did this drastic change came into her life?

Cops Hooker French-fries
COPS - HOOKER - FRENCHFRIES A true story of a southern girl’s culture shock in Southern California. “Got the babies?” I hollered out at my husband from atop the steps of our soon-to-be ex-apartment. I could see the backseat load shift in the rear window of the car as his backside swayed to match it. “Yes!” he yelled back as he popped his head out. “Annnd...two cats!” he announced proudly to himself, shoving his large balled up fists on his hips staring at his handy work. His cheeks were flushed, and his brow beaded up with sweat in the sticky southern air. We said a bitter-sweet goodbye to our apartment, and to our lives in Texas with one last dance in the empty living room, then hit the road to start our new adventure together in Southern California.

Life
Sometimes it is hard to hear that you are at fault for something when you think you were right, but we are not always right in life, and sometimes we need to hear that from someone else. I hear daily that I need to rest and stop working all day every day, I need to set a schedule to get my life on the right path, but I never believed it until I heard it from so many different people each day. Life is not always about being right, it is about doing the right thing. It is about loving and forgiving people. It is about hearing people out when you are mad at them and giving them, another shot at being in your life. Sometimes, we need to forgive people when they hurt us, we need to forgive people when they do wrong, and it is not for them, it is for us, we must forgive them so we can move on with our lives, holding a grudge will make you feel bad, until you forgive the person who hurt you.

What do we really fear?
Although I am originally a psychologist, I don't understand either much about anxiety. Perhaps I can give a couple of useful advice for anxiety before the presentation, when there is big decision or a problem to face, but here I am talking about a deeper, void-like state of mind which I don't understand.

What If?
What if you once giddily stood at the altar, before your family and all your friends, and vowed that you’d love only your chosen him? That there would never be anyone else again, and that you’d love only him until the day you died? What if you wore your gown of white as proof of your undying love for him, and you swore to the legitimacy of the promise you were making to only him? What if you faithfully and staunchly undertook to remain by his side, through all the good and all the bad, the up’s and all the down’s?
