I Want to be Heard Vocally and in Writing
A voice reaching out

As a 29-year-old lady, I was raised from the western part of Africa “Ghana”. Growing up was not easy as a 7years old to my adult life. Life experiences has either shown me the rough tracks of life or taught me tough love but never has it been a smooth sail for me, of course I am grateful for the things I was able to receive like food, shelter and clothing however I was always missing internal joy and was very suicidal with depression issues.
Becoming a young lady, however, came with a form of unexplainable hunger and desire in my heart to help people out there, to be their voice, help them find their true calling, to help guide them find their true self by reaching their inner core where there has been brokenness, pain, trauma etc., to be able to find their light which was dimmed by life’s experiences. There are people out there seeking guidance, someone to pay an ear to their burden, be a shoulder to cry on, be the friend to console them and bring the best out of them, so they can see their self-worth.
I once was given the opportunity to speak to high schoolers, about three different classes 2018, I chose to speak on leadership and vision, because as growing teens it is always important to know where they are heading in life and what it takes to become a leader. Finding your vision can sometimes be tasking whiles other times can come easy to you, we are in a world of so much noise and we sometimes tend to lose our own voice in the mist of it. Being a leader as we know is not just about sitting and bossing around but putting pride aside, learning to teach, being humble enough to be taught and even sometimes getting your hands dirty by helping with demand tasks that the other teammates or groups find difficult. It is setting an example and going far and beyond to be a great figure other can look up to.
My vision is to inspire, educate and speak to people both young and old whiles travelling across the globe and inspiring, uplifting and making a difference not just physically but also through writing as well. I believe taking charge of my destiny is important and will do anything within my power to make sure it comes to past.
Currently writing my first ever book and hoping it will reach many out there, that it speaks volumes, inspire, and hopefully make great impact across the globe. I strive for greatness and I believe there is something amazing and extraordinary waiting for me out there, and I am ready for it whenever the right timing sets off.
Will end with a little writing piece I have in store.
Clueless Strong Soul
Strong souls are mostly mistaken for stubborn individuals.
A strong soul is built from the back of brokenness (mentally and emotionally), torment, lost identity and even physical, mental and emotional abuse.
Some take longer than most to realize their strengths to break free from the shackles holding them back.
Do not mistake ME for stubborn.
Do not mistake THEM for stubborn, for it took us far to get here.
What meets the eye is “WE ARE SLOW”, YES, we may be but give us a BREAK---- will you?
We SLOW because it took our bruised backs, legs, beaten fragile arms, crushed minds to drag us on the ground to get here----So----give us a break, will you?
Let us just say the reality of life got to us quicker than expected or----should I say life did not smile much or longer?
Critics: "Pick up the pace!"
Us: "oh don't worry we will", but GIVE US A BREAK, will you? "the journey here wasn't very easy".
Critics: "U too daft and dumb" we hear, learn more”!
Us: "Oh dear----we study” but GIVE US A BREAK-----will you? we take our time, but we will get there.
When we do not jump around easily for joy on little things, or go out for adventures, it does not make us boring but let us just say Life got to us quicker than expected, therefore, little things like this don't tickle us as much as it should.
BUT HEY, guess what? GIVE US A CHANCE, we will get there.
Critics: “Is that HIM/HER, HOW DID THEY GET TO US?
Us: "oh hey there! yeah is us, you see---TAKING YOUR TIME isn't slow as long as you are moving, knowing where you are going and is determined you will get there.
We were clueless strong souls before but then we grew more and realized, we are the strongest of them all.
Do not let your past define who you are and never let the words YOU ARE STUBBORN, stop you from being you.
We are just individuals who are not understood.
You are BOLD and STRONG. Wanting more than what is being offered when it comes to jobs or any other offers of life is not being picky is knowing what you want and right for you.
Is putting yourself and your needs first regardless of your struggles because you know what you NEED. Do not let desperate mouthpieces out there influence your mind, stay focused and always strive for the best.
That is a true representation of the STRONG SOUL, staying firm even though the world is at your neck, by not allowing your situation to make you settle describes you as everything STRENGTH and more.
So go ahead, call us names but we do not need a break anymore, WE NEED A CHANCE to PROVE OURSELVES because we just discovered we are not broken individuals, we just take our time because we know what we need. Yes, the process may take us longer than it should, but we know what we are doing, we did not believe and trust in ourselves before, but we do now, and you just got to trust us enough to patiently wait and see.
So, if you have insulted, laughed or badly criticized someone who needed a break before is time to apologize to the person.
Stop judging because what the eyes meet is not all that there is.
To my strong souls who are still fighting to stand, YOU ROCK!
You are STRONGER than you think, Keep going and believe in yourselves.
Stay blessed
