Introduction

This is meant to be a bit of humour, and I am definitely not down, although it is something I am aware of. This is only true because of the number of stories, poems, articles and things that I publish, and this is what the statistics say.

The Worst (Active) Creator On Vocal (According To Vocal)

"Lies, damned lies, and statistics" is a phrase describing the persuasive power of statistics to bolster weak arguments, "one of the best, and best-known" critiques of applied statistics. It is also sometimes colloquially used to doubt statistics used to prove an opponent's point.

The phrase was popularised in the United States by Mark Twain (among others), who attributed it to the British prime minister Benjamin Disraeli. However, the phrase is not found in any of Disraeli's works.

And as this argument is built on statistics, you can see its foundations are as steady a quicksand.

Obviously, that worst (active) creator is none other than me.

I have published this many stories with two achievements:

That means my challenge placement percentage is 0.0006%, as you can see, that is minuscule, so don't ask me for pointers on how to win a Challenge.

About eighteen months ago, Top Stories dropped off significantly; it's been fifty days since the last one on this account. I have had 91 Top Stories in my time on Vocal, that is a 0.03% success rate, hardly the rate of someone you would want batting on your team.

To balance this out, the wonderful comments I get from my audience, and the number of reads I get, plus the work I do promoting Vocal and other creators, prove that I am actually an excellent, successful and much creator. It's just that Vocal don't think that.

But that won't stop me from entering challenges and hoping for a bit of recognition. I do get the odd "Honourable Mention" on the Vocal Leaderboard, so my heart and comment numbers give me recognition.

I've included the brilliant "Are We The Baddies?" sketch by Mitchell and Webb because that is sometimes how I feel, "Am I The Bad Guy?", but I know the reality is that I am the good guy.

So I thought I would include some memes about bad scenarios, which will hopefully make you laugh. I just hope that you are not affected by any of these.

So this is very USA-based, but I have experienced builders, roofers, garages, dentists, plumbers who are like this in the UK. Luckily, my current set of plumbers and handymen are trustworthy, excellent, and value for money.

So many things in my kitchen drawers are like this, especially when I need something quickly. Whisks and Cheese Graters are the worst.

Yeah it's cats, and memes and more cats and conspiracy theories and orange buffoons.

And how many times have we had this happen to us? It has hit me so many times. I am currently having an issue with AppleTV+, it asks me to enter details then tells me my date of birth is wrong, tells me my account is locked, then gets into a loop of two-step authentication. My PIN for my ATM card is still only four characters, and I can do contactless payments. One of the work sites requires a twelve-character password. The only safe place is in your head.

And this is a frequent happening when opening milk and cans (of course, the tops are metal, but the ring pull comes off and nothing else, then the can opener won't work either.

So that's a few memes about the worst things that can happen in certain situations from me.
