Bedroom Eyes
Him smiling is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Even when I just catch a glimpse of it, it’s the highest I've ever felt. The nervousness and excitement I experience when I’m around him is something I have never experienced before. His eyes are a delicate golden-brown but are strong enough to pierce right through your heart causing it to palpitate. His mesmerizing eyes can influence you into doing things you wouldn’t normally do. He either looks at you through a child’s eye, or through the eyes of a deprived man who is starving for affection and intimacy; he’s hungry for flesh.

Awaiting Emotions
So I was just sitting in my room watching people eat on my TV and i thought to myself… man I'm hungry! Lol I was hungry but that’s besides the point. I started thinking about you, about time, how much longer I had to wait, had to keep painfully striving forward in this house, waiting for the day I can be held in your arms, and forget about the hard times. There's been a couple of ways I've been trying to deal with this but I thought maybe writing down how I felt about you and how i just felt in general every other day might help me cope. Yea I know usually doing that wouldn't help much and you would think it would just make things harder for me but in a strange way I feel like it's going to help a lot. So here we go. Hopefully if I even have the guts, I'll send this to after I've seen you.

Behind the Moonlight
I remember the first time his hand brushed up against mine. We were walking home from the movie theater and every time I felt his skin against mine, I would look up at him and he would look away. It drove me crazy. We didn’t say much the entire walk home. All because his hand kept brushing up against mine. I had long since convinced myself that I was crazy because all I had wanted to do was hold his hand while we smiled at each other and stared into one another’s eyes.

What The World Needs Is Love
Most would say that the word “love” is very much over used and frankly, I do not disagree with that statement. People constantly use this word for conversation or use it just to use it. It seems that the world has forgotten what the word truly stands for. Nowadays, people talk about how much love hurts and how it’s not worth it just because someone didn’t love them the way they should have. I understand that it is tough having a broken heart, but that shouldn’t cause one to turn on love or run away from it. The world is extremely chaotic right now. People are dying from so many things in today’s time and really, I think that it is due to the lack of love in the world.

Faded Memories
The curve of his nose, so soft and delicate, inviting me in for a kiss. Nuzzled tenderly against my head, as he kisses my temple. His eyes follow me slowly, always jumping at the chance to meet mine. Compassionate, devoted, loving, stirred, exquisitely made brilliant blue cesspools. Colors shifting like the tide laps upon the beach, stealing my attention, as the waves steal sand. The sun and the moon of my world, him. Skin wrinkles, tensing up in pleasure, happily jumping to form a smile. Cheeks turning to a deep day’s beginning. Gingerly pressing his lax pallid lips against mine. I feel complete, whole. Everything for once in this crazy world is right. Their pastel color and soothing warm sparks my soul. Long delicate locks shine without the help of the sun. The fire upon his head. My beautiful mess. Gingery and soulful. Such a sight it is, to see him.

Black Love
The dynamic between the black female and male counterparts and why they are unsuccessful. Today seems to be a repetitive cycle, where boy meets girl and girl falls madly in love causing her to want- to do any and everything to keep her man happy, while boy does whatever he wants.This is the very same patriarchal economy that disallowed women the right to vote, make any decisive cognition, and had the opportunities of owning literally anything only subjugated towards men. Things have changed a bit, but not much within the black communities.
