Agatha All Along
The first episode of Agatha All Along was undeniably captivating. The mystery, the pacing, the way that all the characters played off of each other was brilliantly crafted. Jac Shaeffer has proven that she knows these characters, and more than that, that she cares for them. She is in fact the only writer in the MCU that I trust with my favorite characters. I have quite a few predictions based off this first episode but they gave us the first two so let's get into it.

Agatha All Along
Agatha All Along released its first 2 episodes at once this week. The first people to review it sang its praises, save for a few butthurt internet fanboys who can’t stand the sight of women on their TV screens. I for one am very skeptical about the series if for no other reason then they are adapting The Witches Road which is a very prominent WANDA storyline. And as she is my favorite character, and has yet to have her own solo movie, it very much feels like a slap in the face to take one of her biggest comic book moments and give it to someone else. That said, the promise of a future Scarlet Witch project hangs in the air so I am excited to see how Agatha can help us get there.

Villainess Review: Dee Baxter (The Wayans Bros.)
Who remembers The WB? The original WB Network? Hard to believe that it's been almost 30 years since that network launched, and would go on to become this big thing--keeping up with what was now the Big Four networks (CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox). The whole thing started in early 1995, and it ended up leading to the launch of Kids' WB that fall (that's another story). The network had their trademark shows, and among their earliest hits was The Wayans Bros., the memorable sitcom that officially put Shawn and Marlon Wayans on the spotlight.

The Acolyte
So far I think everyone that was shitting on this show is insane, or stupid, or both. The Acolyte is a well written show that seems to explore parts of the Star Wars universe that are underutilized. We are getting to see and talk about what the flaws in the Jedi order are. We are getting to see how revenge and trauma don’t always have to lead to the Dark side. Also how it isn’t always about Dark vs Light. I think this show is adding a lot more substance and nuance to the Star Wars canon then it had before.

The Acolyte
We are diving into The Acolyte. I really enjoyed the first episode, against the internet’s wishes. But really there were no glaring flaws in the writing. Granted that could always change, shows fall off as seasons continue all the time. Though I will say that is a lot less frequent when it comes to streaming because the seasons are shorter and therefore tend to be fully planned before shooting even starts. That’s not to say that every streaming show is a goldmine of perfect writing, but it really does minimize the plot and character mistakes that network shows tend to make because they last far longer than they should. So here we go with The Acolyte episode 2.

All Of The Times MTV Should Have Fired 'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood
MTV star Amber Portwood has been in the reality television spotlight since appearing on the show 16 and Pregnant in 2009. While the show and its multiple Teen Mom spin-off series were intended to educate young people about the struggles of teen parenting, the shows have become more "reality TV trash" as the years have gone on. Many scandals and controversies have exploded as cameras continued to roll and many of these controversies are at the hands of Amber Portwood.
