My Review of "Katt Williams: Great America"
I had a great time last week watching Katt Williams' Pimp Chronicles Pt.1, I was curious what his stand-up material would be like today. To my surprise there happened to be a 2018 Netflix special called Katt Williams: Great America. Say no more, I have to check it out!

Film of the Year: Booksmart
In the year that one Marvel phase ended and another began, where the Star Wars trilogy found it's conclusion and Jennifer Lopez actually starred in a good movie, the quirky comedy Booksmart shines bright. Olivia Wilde's directorial debut had been on her mind for a while but the director was insistant on getting this film right, including the right cast. In all honesty I never expected to love Booksmart as much as I did, especially when teen movies have really taken a dive in quality in recent years. However this coming of age film belongs right up there with the best. I'm talking Mean Girls, Clueless, Superbad, all the greats.

My Review of "Kevin Hart:Don't F**k This Up"
Kevin Hart: Don't F**k This Up, is a TV series that documents his life for the last few years. It's interesting because you hear about these crazy things about him in the tabloids and sometimes you don't know what to believe. He gives a pretty detailed account of what happened and explain how he's screwed up, learned from his screw ups and moved on to become a better person out of his experiences.

Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Wow.. all I can say is wow! First of all, SPOILER ALERT! You probably already figured that, but just in case you haven’t seen Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker yet and want to, you have been warned. The final ending to the Star Wars saga has come at last. And although the last one left me a little nervous, see my other review at https://shopping-feedback.today/futurism/star-wars-the-last-jedi-predictions-and-review, I came away from this movie thoroughly satisfied and there are several reasons. There seemed to be at least one missed opportunity, but let's get started.

My Review of "Unbroken:Path to Redemption"
The title of Unbroken: Path to Redemption is kind of confusing to me. The reason why it's confusing is because I already reviewed a movie called Unbroken (https://shopping-feedback.today/serve/my-review-of-unbroken). That movie was directed by Angelina Jolie and it was actually a pretty good one. It talked about the extraordinary things that Louis Zamperini had to deal with during the war.

There’s Nothing Ordinary About 45 Years With Charlotte Rampling
45 Years sets us at ease as it opens to the bucolic English countryside, and the tone of Charlotte Rampling’s lilt ascend us into the golden years of a long, fruitful romance. But the shadow of a past love puts the basking at bay and turns the glacially paced Andrew Haigh plot into a cascade. Smothered and suffocated, the unraveling of the 2015 film will leave you feeling as though you were buried in an all consuming avalanche.

My Review of "The Kominsky Method: Season two"
When I saw the Kominsky Method last year I didn't know what to think. A dramedy (comedy and drama) based on two senior citizens? I sat and binged watched the first season because it was so good. I could believe that this odd couple would riff off each other so well and have such realistic situations happen to them. Well realistic is kind of stretching it since one of old guys is super rich.

My Review of "The Irishman"
The Irishman is the latest Martin Scorsese film and it so happens to be exclusive to Netflix. This really shows that Netflix is willing to pay top talent to get exclusive rights to high caliber content on their streaming service. It makes sense too because there is a lot of competition coming their way in terms of competing streaming services.

Movie Review:'Miss Bala'A Pointless Remake
One day perhaps, actress Gina Rodriguez will be a major movie star. She has the talent and the charisma of a leading lady. She’s shown her movie star chops in her supporting role in Annihilation. There is no question that Rodriguez has unlimited potential. That potential however, is entirely unrealized in the rote and problematic remake, Miss Bala. An American take on the 2011, Mexican original of the same title, 2019’s Miss Bala does nothing to justify why it exists.

Movie Review: 'Velvet Buzzsaw' Netflix at its Most Forgettable
Watching Velvet Buzzsaw I kept impatiently waiting for the movie to be good. I had really high hopes for Velvet Buzzsaw. It stars the brilliant Jake Gyllenhaal alongside a pretty creative supporting cast and has a look that reminded me of a combination of Nicholas Winding Refn meets Tom Ford. Dan Gilroy is a really talented filmmaker who directed one of Jake Gyllenhaal’s best recent performances in Nightcrawler so clearly there was a reason to be excited. And yet, it stinks!

My Review of "Iron Fists and Kung Fu Kicks"
I wasn't sure what to make of Iron Fists and Kung Fu Kicks when it became available on Netflix. I thought it was an actual movie but it was actually a documentary. Why not? I like Kung Fu movies as much as the next person, let's see how it goes.
