My Review of "Disenchantment Part 1 and 2"
Matt Groening had first captured our hearts with the Simpsons. He followed that with Futurama. The only thing was Futurama didn't have as much of a following as the Simpsons. That's because Futurama went into a totally different direction than the Simpsons. Futurama dealt with adults (some of them not human) and their relationship with one another in the future. Their sitcom scenarios came from jobs that they had to run.

The Two Popes - A Movie Review
Never judge a book by its cover. Friendship is very important. The Two Popes is a Netflix 2019 film based on true events about the conservative Pope Benedict and the liberal Cardinal Francis who find out that they have much more in common than they expected. As they make plans for a new path of the Catholic Church, the two men bond, settling their differences.

My review of "Life (1999)"
Recently, I was able to watch Eddie Murphy's 1999 movie Life on Netflix. I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I saw the summary for this movie. It was a movie starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence so I naturally thought it would be a comedy but it's kind of a mix of drama and comedy.

My Review of "The Greatest Showman"
The Greatest Showman had earned some buzz when it was first released back in 2017. I didn't get a chance to see it. Although, I was also hesitant of watching it since it was said to be a musical. This genre is kind of a hit or miss with me. The last one I really enjoyed was La La Land but that was a long time ago. They don't normally win me over. Maybe I'm too much of a simpleton to get them.

'Five-Feet-Apart' Movie Review
Introduction A love story. That was not how the story was supposed to start as but it ended in sacrifice; a connotation of love. Stella, a 17 year old suffering with cystic fibrosis unexpectedly meets Will, a patient with the same condition. Frustrated at his viewings of life, Stella intervenes to add control to his mannerisms and to give herself peace of mind. Time intertwines the two together as they discover a love that even distance can't hold them apart from.

My Review of "The King"
I was told to watch The King by a friend of mine. He said that I'd like it because it was well made. My hesitation came from the fact that it was a Netflix made movie. Yes, The King is a Netflix exclusive, but it's got some pretty heavy hitting Hollywood stars in it.

My Review of "Good Boys"
I heard really good things about Good Boys but I never got around to watching it. It is now available for streaming so I finally got a chance to watch it. I have to agree with some reviewers with the movie but there are certain things I have reservations about.

My Review of "The Giver"
I admit that I have never heard of The Giver when I first saw it on Netflix. Apparently this movie came out back in 2014 but I guess they didn't advertise it too well because I never heard of it. It's surprising too because they have a pretty big cast playing in this movie. The premise of the movie is pretty interesting as well. Although some of you might groan a little when you hear what it's about. I thought it was fun.

My Review of "Kevin Hart: Irresponsible"
After watching the incredible Netflix TV documentary "Kevin Hart: Don't F**k This Up", I realized I haven't seen his latest comedy special "Kevin Hart: Irresponsible". There really was no buzz about this special so I quickly forgot about it when it first come out. It could have been because of the controversies surrounding Kevin Hart at the time he released his special. All of which are explained in the TV documentary.
