Eternals is a rare misfire from Marvel.
Marvel has had a string of massive successes. Eternals had all the makings to be yet another. Unfortunately it was not and it has become the first rotten film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are plenty of reasons why this movie did not connect with me.

My Review of "Resident Evil 2 (2019)"
Resident Evil 2 (2019) is the remake I was kind of dreading when they first announced it. I thought they would be totally rehashing the game with new graphics. That wasn't the case with this game. Soon I would realize I was playing the game all over again in a new perspective. It's not just a remake this is an absolute overhaul. I recognize a lot of it but it's not quite the same.

The Harder They Fall
The Harder They Fall directed by Jeymes Samuel is a thrilling Black Western! Courtesy of Audacy The film starts out with Tarantino vibes and a soundtrack that juxtaposes the traditional Western film genre in a brilliant way. "Archive 81: Season 1" - STREAM IT OR SKIP IT?
There's so much content out there these days that it can be hard to find anything worth watching. I know that sounds backwards, but there are simply so many options that the true gems are hidden among the ranks of the mediocre, or even the outright bad. Besides, modern shows are designed with carefully planted cliffhangers so that once you get started, it's hard to walk away. Then you look up, and six hours have passed, and you realise that you didn't really enjoy any of it. It was distracting, and it got its hooks in you, but you kinda wish that you had those six hours back.

My Review of "Vince Carter: Legacy"
Vince Carter: Legacy is yet another documentary into the life and times of Vince Carter. You'll remember 2 years ago I reviewed the Carter Effect. Some of the same information is regurgitated in this documentary but in a different manner. The Carter Effect focused on Vince Carter's influence in Toronto and Canada in general. This new documentary simply dives deeper into the career of Vince Carter.

Single All the Way
‘Single All the Way’ is currently available on Netflix, and is the feel good Christmas movie that you shouldn’t miss. It’s been a few years since I’ve written a movie review, beyond making a quick social media comment. This movie is worth a proper discussion.

My Review of "Peacemaker: Season 1"
Peacemaker: Season 1 is a very short mini series that came out on HBO in 2022. If you liked the Suicide Squad (2021) that came out last year you'll be right at home with this TV series. It feels a lot like that movie and for good reason. It's written and directed by the same person.

Film Review: The King's Man
This review contains minor story spoilers for the film. No major plot points will be discussed. I have a favorable opinion of the Kingsman franchise. I've watched both of the previous movies and I thoroughly enjoyed them. When the film The King's Man was announced, I honestly was only mildly interested. This opinion of mine changed when I was watching a YouTube video, and a trailer for it played as an ad. I could've easily skipped it, but this trailer in particular focused on none other than Grigori Rasputin (played by the wonderfully talented Rhys Ifans). In just under two minutes I watched a supercut of the character's lines and exploits in the film, scored by the amazingly catchy "Rasputin" by Boney M. I was entranced and delighted by his creepy charm and magnetic quality. And just like that, I made plans to see the film.
