My Review of "Big Brother (2018)"
Big Brother (2018) is yet another movie about out of control teenagers taught by a teacher with a heart of gold. I admit I got suckered into watching this movie because it's a Donnie Yen movie. With him in the lead I naturally assumed it would be a martial arts movie but that's not the main focus.

My Review of "The Many Saints of Newark"
The Many Saints of Newark came out last year in 2021 with much anticipation. I admittedly did not really look forward to this movie at all because at the time I had never seen the Sopranos TV show that its based off of. Now that I've finally finished the Sopranos I now have a better understanding of why people were hotly anticipating this movie. With the TV show fresh in my mind I knew I would have a better grasp of the movie now than later.

My Review of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a wacky if not a throwback to an older movie in the franchise. I can make some pretty good connections to this movie and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Of the three original movies of the franchise Temple of Doom was its wackiest. This movie kind of dives into that same wackiness.

Review: "Hell Mode" Vols. 1-2 by: Hamuo
Yes, another of the hundred Isekai I've read. Why? I love them, even if they're garbage, which "Hell Mode" is far from. As always, a quick, small summary; Hell mode is another Isekai with an underpowered, but smart, protagonist in a world structured after a game with RPG mechanics. It's unique in that the protagonist is reincarnated from birth in this case, rather than being transported as is or de-aged a bit when entering the new world. There won't be spoilers in this article, but before we get into the bulk of it, I do highly recommend this light novel series as it's an exciting, interesting and a very fulfilling read.

"Sugar Ray"
Sugar Ray" Gladiator. Born Walker Smith Jr., he would go on to be known as Sugar Ray Robinson; one of the greatest fighters of all time. At the Gene Frankel Theater we just witnessed Robinson's first fight in which he lost. Jake LaMotta was the winner. Unlike today, boxers of yesteryear considered themselves warriors, gladiators, men of men and a lose meant respect for the winner and conversely the winner didn't show up his opponent either. In Lawrence Holder's "Sugar Ray" we see a soft side, a human side to this man up on the stage solo for ninety minutes. In real life, however, Robinson ran with gangs, contrary to Holder's writing. Robinson had many wives, ran into trouble more often than what was portrayed here on stage.

‘Friends’ Hasn't Aged Well
‘Friends’ is arguably one of the most important milestone programmes in sit-com history. In fact, it could be argued that it is one of the biggest TV shows of all time, period. The tale of 6 friends, a deceptively simple premise, took the world by storm during its original run and even now, almost two decades after its final episode aired, it remains a firm fan favourite, with new generations discovering the show all over again. If nothing else, it’s sheer staying power is what has truly secured its place in the history books.

The Future of the Amazing Spiderman
With the success of the newest Spiderman installment, the internet has been asking for a new Andrew Garfield Spiderman movie. Now I am in the camp of no, and that makes no sense and it's unnecessary mostly because Sony has already proven that they can’t make a good Spidey movie by themselves, however if, in theory, we were to get another Andrew movie there are a couple of storylines that would be interesting and not interfere with the current cannon of the MCU.
