Zack Snyder's Justice League
Zack Snyder’s Justice League Movie Review We live in a society, where The Snyder Cut has finally been released. On March 18, after waiting four long years, the fans of DCEU had the pleasure to witness director Zack Snyder's original masterpiece, the Justice League. Having just completed the principal photography back in 2016, Zack Snyder stepped down from the film due to his daughter’s tragic passing. Before he stepped down, Snyder and the executives at Warner Bros, clashed over creative differences. Warner Bros felt the director's vision was too serious, dark, and lack humor. In a response to capitalize on Disney's success with Marvel, Warner Bros hired Joss Whedon the director of The Avengers, and its sequel, Age of Ultron. Under the orders of Warner Bros, Whedon undergoes a series of extensive rewrites, reshoots, and re-edits leaving what is now known as the Snyder Cut on the editors cutting floor.

One Take Wonder
So you’re a fan of the so-called one take wonder? Films that present their stories in one continuous shot spanning the entire length of its running time. In 2014 you watched Birdman, the Oscar winning film by Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu. It starred Michael Keaton, the actor who once played Batman and who now seemed to be making a comeback. As Birdman. You loved it of course. Keaton was always great and now he was in the hands of Iñárritu. You were blown away. You spoke to a friend about it. This friend of yours is a USC grad and self-described cinephile. Total arsehole. He makes mention of another single-take film called Russian Ark. Directed by some Russian filmmaker (obviously), he couldn’t remember the guys name exactly. So you Googled it. Turns out the director’s name is Aleksandr Sokurov and he was born in small Siberian village in 1951. When Russian Ark was released in 2002 it was considered a historical achievement. An hour and thirty-nine minutes of one continuous shot telling the story of a 19th century French aristocrat as he makes his way through the various rooms of the Russian State Hermitage Museum. It’s certainly stunning to look at with its gorgeous production design, costuming and crowded, carefully choreographed set pieces. But much of the historical context and encounters with historical figures are lost on you because you’re an American without a major in Russian history. The film is beautiful to be sure, but, really, it’s somewhat inaccessible to you. Birdman, however, was about actors and the New York theatre. About a has-been movie star looking to prove his artistic worth and be a better father maybe. It featured a bunch of actual movie stars you easily recognise and it reminded you of your own time working in the theatre with dreams of being on a Broadway stage. You laughed at Riggan’s failures to overcome the trappings of his ego and the humiliations he inadvertently suffered when it seemed like he was finally winning again. The spectre of his identity as a superhero franchise star haunted him. The Bird Man mocked him in the dressing room mirror. Here was a redemption story and everyone loves a good redemption story.

The Best Easter Eggs in The 'Space Jam: A New Legacy' Trailer
In 1995, the first Space Jam film, which featured the Looney Tunes recruiting Michael Jordan to help them win a basketball match and avoid being forced into servitude as attractions at an alien theme park, proved a surprise hit, becoming a cult classic. Rumours of a sequel swirled for years afterwards, and finally, in 2016, the movie was confirmed to be in production, with LeBron James set to star.

Technology in Films
In the world of superheroes in TV and Movies, Marvel and DC have shown us a world of different technologic advances. My favorite technical advances have been shown in the TV show Marvel Agents of Sheild. The science divisions of Shield were able to create weapons that can stop people in their tracks without killing. In Avengers we were shown Hawkeye’s super cool quiver that lined up the arrows the same way a barrel of a gun moves. Batman always has different weapons or gadgets he uses both in live-action movies and in cartoons.

Re-Imagining the Greatest Evil Stepmothers of the World
While there have been great Princesses transformed into role models we can’t forget their evil stepmothers of the world. In the world of Snow White for example we have been given two completely different Evil Queens. Julia Robert’s interpretation of the Evil Queen was one that loved parties and staying queen as long as possible.

If 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' Makes You Scream-Sing Your Lungs Out Then You Need More Rock Operas In Your Life
I first watched 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' as a child thanks to having a cool mum, and I became quite obsessed with it. My mum used to own the soundtrack on CD and played it constantly, so even though I only watched it a few times I knew all the songs and lines. I began watching it more as a teenager and I really loved everything about it, and this time I had the added bonus of the internet. It was then that I realised how many other people loved it too and how much of an important and iconic part of pop culture the movie became since its release in 1980.

Movie Review: 'Godzilla vs Kong'
As part of my preparation for the new movie, Godzilla vs Kong, I decided to rewatch one of my least favorite movies of the last few years, Godzilla King of the Monsters. I wrote about that experience and how miserable it was. Godzilla King of the Monsters can barely be favorably compared to a Michael Bay Transformers movie. It’s just as incomprehensible as a Transformers movie but thanks to star Millie Bobby Brown, it’s slightly more tolerable than a Transformers movie.

There’s Something Wrong With Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) [Spoilers]
Godzilla vs. Kong is not a “good” movie to watch in the traditional sense. In fact, the CGI is the standout element in this messy movie. It’s messy because it doesn’t know whether to call itself a creature movie or a movie about people trying not to be cruel to animals — even titans. Here’s a hint: if you want to watch a movie about two hugely popular yet fictional monsters, you don’t need actual actors to do anything. Godzilla and Kong do this movie justice, and they are the only thing in it worth seeing, period.

Movie Review: Godzilla King of the Monsters
Godzilla King of the Monsters is a miserable moviegoing experience. The movie is loud and bleak and chaotic and it’s populated by characters who are impossible to invest in, aside from Millie Bobby Brown; and that’s more about her as an actress than her character. Even if you think you are going just for the big monster fights between Godzilla and a coterie of big bads, you will find yourself miserably making your way through the muck of waste of space human characters only to find loud, unimpressive fights on par with the robot fights of Transformers.

Godzilla vs. Kong Spoiler Review
Godzilla vs. Kong has been one of the most anticipated movies to come out during the COVID-19 pandemic, and if it wasn't for the virus, this certainly would have been a major blockbuster. Set up from three previous movies, Godzilla vs. Kong used its rebooted franchise history to tell a story bigger than just the two titans. No movie is perfect, but here are some specific details that Godzilla vs. Kong did well or could have done better.
