Movie Review: 'Shiva Baby'
Shiva Baby is like watching an anxiety attack in progress. That’s not a negative. The fact that the movie so well embodies what it feels like to seemingly have the world crashing in around you, unable to breathe or escape, is impressive. As someone who has had his fair share of panic attacks and anxiety, I related deeply to Shiva Baby in tone if not in the perspective of the lead character, Danielle, played by Rachel Sennott.

Alice In Wonderland & Other Quirky Fantasy Films For Viewers Of All Ages
Fantasy is often thought to be most appealing to younger audiences, what with magical creatures, witches, secret portals, and alternate universes that help viewers escape their realities. However, fantasy can often be a way to comment on reality without being so explicit. This is a good way to spread serious messages to young audiences while also appealing to their older companions.

The Quirky, The Imaginative, The Whimsical
Indian Paintbrush Productions Audiences all know, love, and appreciate the wonderful whimsical world of Wes Anderson. His knack for quick witted quirky characters, amazing use of color, and unique adventures never goes unnoticed. Under the surface, you will even find romance, which enters: “Moonrise Kingdom”, a light-hearted adventure of two alienated tweens who want to escape their dreadful home lives in order to be together. If you love the odd ball, adventurous, alienated romance of Sam and Suzy you’ll surely enjoy the recommendations, or “That’s” I have gathered.

A comparison between a summer love story and the true love between Shrek and Fiona
A wooden puppet, witches, seven dwarves, a talking donkey, an ogre, a cursed princess waiting to be rescued and a female dragon. Every creature is different and coexists in a unique and fantastic world. Diversity is the key and love doesn’t seem to be discriminating. Shrek is the love story that we all love and I’m sure every person has seen at least one film of the saga.

If You Love Ancient History
*Spoiler alert! All the historical characters discussed in this article are dead. Most of them, not by natural causes. When learning about history was a requirement, I had zero interest. I learned the hard way that you can’t write a history report based on a movie. Now that I’m older, I love learning about different periods in time and the people from those periods. Occasionally, a movie just isn’t enough.

If This, Then That Afterlife
There are stories; and then there are stories that make you stay glued to your TV screen for hours. You are hooked, happy when the protagonist is victorious, and dashed when an episode collectively plot changes all known evidence. That pretty much explains all thematic storylines.

For those who miss the original RoboCop
Ah, Robocop. When most people think of RoboCop, they think of the over-the-top violence. When talking about what RoboCop’s violence meant for the action genre, Edward Neumeier, one of the film’s writers, said it was a commentary on “how ludicrous the genre was becoming”.
