I was still deep in thought when I felt Goldy stirring up besides me . She brought my mind back to the current state of events . I decided to act like I was still sleeping and kept holding her . Just a few more hours I thought to myself . Laying with Goldy is the only reason I ever like to stay in the bed . Even though we were on the roof . She seemed to be on the same page and quickly went back to sleep . I decided to get a little more rest myself and dozed off again .

Our brightest and most popular star Fosavian was dominating the sky at this time . With the other stars looking like decorations in comparison . I started to talk to her . “ Legend has it that if you follow that star while on the sea . It will lead you to amazing treasure . The legend also goes that if you follow the star in space , that you’ll receive powers of unimaginable proportions .”

We fed the borkas and had a good time . We’re not really supposed to feed them but some of us in the village do . A lot of them have become dependent , so we kind of have to . Whenever the numbers get high the butchers , hunters , and other villagers just kill a few for free meat . It’s kind of dark when I think about it . I would never bring it up to Goldy though . I’d imagine it to be a mood killer .

Chief Maxus walked out of the room and left me alone in the room with Goldy again . She was still sleeping though . So I decided to get up and stretch for a little bit . I tested my readiness to fight while I thought about what I’d do . The Chief was right . My best bet would be for me to woo Goldy as much as I can . As to soften the blow for when I have to leave . I still don’t know if I should tell her when she wakes up , or at the end of the day .

After I enjoyed my meal I dozed off into some of the best sleep I’ve had in ages . I even had vivid dreams again , but it was a simple one . Just me , my friends and Goldy exploring a sunny country side with exotic wildlife and vegetation . We were just wandering around having fun with the sun shining in our faces . The wind was a gentle breeze , it was a perfect compliment to the suns radiant warmth . I just had an enigmatic feeling during the entire dream . As if everything in the world was at balance . It might've been my minds way of telling me something . That even after defeat . Everything will be okay . As long as I can adventure with the ones I love . Sunshine and great weather are just the added bonuses .

When they first walked into my room we all smiled at first . We couldn't hold back the joy of seeing each others faces after losing in a battle so bad . Then the smiles faded and we started to talk . Bulls Eye was the first one to break the silence out of us three . “ Man , we sure got our asses handed to us by that robed guy . It turns out that we were all saved by the village chief ! “ That statement surprised me , the village chief was tough but he wasn’t necessarily known for his fighting capabilities . Then while he was laughing out loud and noticing the shock on my face . Bulls Eye then continued on to explain . “ It turns out that the guy loved the shape of the chiefs head ! He told the chief he loved his head but that he hated our buildings for having imperfect angles . He then ran off and left the village without saying another word . We got beat up by a weirdo guys , we were completely annihilated .”

I woke up in the village hospital . Damn I thought . I’m getting tired of having to wake up in random places . I was glad to see Goldy was in my room . Other than that I was still confused as to what was going on . Seeing her made me feel okay though . Then I remembered that I was in the middle of a fight . Not anymore though , the last thing I remembered was me getting ready for an attack . I must have been knocked out . I was relieved that he didn’t kill me though . I still had so many questions and concerns . The first words that I said to Goldy as she smiled from noticing me waking up was . “ Thanks for being here for me . I have been thinking about you for days . My journey has been long and tough . My friends that were fighting besides me though , how is Bulls Eye and John doing ? “ .

At the perfect time a young medic came running to escort the elderly couple . She was going to make sure that they were okay . I looked around and then took off running towards the direction I could see some fighting going on . Bulls Eye and John followed me without having to say a word . We then arrived to a small clearing in between some tall business buildings . It was near the center of the town . We also saw several guards laying on the ground defeated . They had to be at least unconscious .

Me and John both looked back at Bulls Eye with a very surprised look on our faces . We knew very well that he was lethal , but we didn’t know that he was that savage . I guess through out these battle we will definitely be learning more about each other . Through out the thick and then . Trials and tribulations of our adventures . I thought about sending a message with my last container but I decided against it . Even though we wouldn’t be getting back until tomorrow , we weren’t that far from Greencrest .
