Chief Maxus walked out of the room and left me alone in the room with Goldy again . She was still sleeping though . So I decided to get up and stretch for a little bit . I tested my readiness to fight while I thought about what I’d do . The Chief was right . My best bet would be for me to woo Goldy as much as I can . As to soften the blow for when I have to leave . I still don’t know if I should tell her when she wakes up , or at the end of the day .

I was sitting there pondering to myself when Goldy started to wake up . I decided to give her a wholesome greeting . After all , she’s been very caring and supporting . I’m very grateful for her . “ Good morning beautiful ! I'm very grateful for you . Thanks for the flowers and company . Are you still sleepy ? We can trade spots .“ I said while grinning .

She responded grinning back . “ Yup we can trade spots , but only if you give me triplets .“ Damn I said making a sheepish face she got me . I like to practice all the time but having 1-3 kids right now . That just sounds frightening . I barely have time for anything these days . Let alone being a proper father .

Before things got off track I decided to just come clean . “ I have some good news . I also have some better news and some good news that you might not like .“ She gave me a stern look . She knows how I start to talk when I might have to tell her something she might not like . Her stern look turned into a cold one and she said . “ What is it bright ? “ She came over and started to drink my water while I replied . “ So the good news is that I feel good and healthy . I'm feeling much better now . The doctor even said I’m okay to leave . I got my papers while you were sleep and everything . The news that is even better . Is that I plan to spend my whole entire day with you . If you are free that is . The good news that you might not like . Is that we found out where the attacker is located . The chief personally came and asked me to come for the revenge attack . He says I have a day to prepare . So I’m guessing we could be leaving as soon as tomorrow night .”

At this point she’d already finished my water and had her arms crossed . She didn’t say anything for a while so I could tell that her wheels were turning in her head . After a short while she sighed and said come on . She grabbed me by the hand and said , " okay first we’ll go and feed some borkas . ( Borkas look like turkeys but they have tan fur instead of feathers . ) She lead me almost running to the bread shop .

She told me not to worry about paying for the bread like I usually do . She also told me how my belongings were brought to the home . The doctor didn’t want me to be hauling such a big bag . He must know that I’ll be fighting again soon . Why I do I feel like I'm the last one to know things , all of the time .
