Grapes of Wrath Review
In Chapters 1-3 of “The Grapes of Wrath” where the Joad family begins their journey to California in hope for a better life is a very intriguing scene. The author John Steinbeck exposes the desperate conditions under which the migratory farm families of America, along with focusing on the hardships and migration from Oklahoma to California of the Joad family during the Great Depression of the 1930s. Set during the Great Depression, the novel focuses on the Joads, a poor family of tenant farmers driven from their Oklahoma home by drought, economic hardship, agricultural industry changes, and bank foreclosures forcing tenant farmers out of work. Due to their nearly hopeless situation, and in part because they are trapped in the Dust Bowl, the Joads set out for California on the "mother road", along with thousands of other "Okies" seeking jobs, land, dignity, and a future.

The Solaris Warrior
It was the year 2250, the world everyone knew as planet Earth had been reduced to a near desolate wasteland after being invaded by the dreaded Umbraxians. Gargoyle-like aliens that possess dark magic called the “Necroforce”, but the true extent of this power could only be unlocked by a large ingestion of water. Something their planet lacked. Twenty-Two years prior Earth’s astrologists discovered a mysterious 10th world, in the Solar System and initiated a homing beacon to attract possible life. This action proved to be dire, as the lifelong fear of an alien invasion became a reality. The beings from planet Umbra followed the homing signal to Earth and drained the latter’s entire water supply; from the oceans to lakes to rivers everything was drained, causing worldwide drought and decimating over half the planet’s population.

Veronica Ganz (Retold)
New York. Early 1940s. Many of the kids in there preferred to play indoors, since they are afraid of what was outside that could catch them. No, it wasn't any stranger or a mad dog or something. Worse than that, it was the child who put fear on everyone else around the block.

Chaos in Camelot 2
Zhane! Are you ok!? Screamed Kyle. No! I failed! Screamed Haldor. The smoke subsided and Zhane stood tall in green and silver knight’s armor cloaked with sparks of lightning. This power, it’s incredible! And the sword is worthy of a knight. I think I’ll call it the Draco Saber. You don't know what the Dragon Star is capable of. Take it off now. I’ll know soon enough. Now as far as I’m concerned, you and the scar face here are just potholes in the road. Zhane fired a lightning blast to the ceiling and trapped Kyle and Haldor.

Hey, it’s a golden necklace with a star shaped sapphire in the center. But remember it’s a very powerful relic so we have to use it with caution. Relied Kyle. Relax Kyle, your Astro Blade is just as strong and you haven’t discovered all of its powers yet. One thing is for sure, we have a lot to learn about the treasure we find, things like the Astro Blade and the Heaven’s Charm are filled with mysteries. As long as we work together there is no mystery or pirate that can stop us. Tina assured Kyle.

Blue Moon Review
Book Review: Blue Moon, book 2 of The Immortals series by Alyson Noel I noticed that there're a lot of comparison between The Immortals series and Twilight series, I'd give Miss Noel this: this woman has more of an imagination than Stephanie Meyer, and her use of different myths is a bit better and more respectful.
