Eat More Plants Please. Top Story - July 2021.
Making the transition to a plant-based diet is easier than you think but it does take some perseverance. Like any new challenge, if you try to tackle it all at once, you will quickly become consumed by the overwhelming amount of information available. Recipes, influencers, nutritional recommendations, and plant-based food substitutes will bombard you from every direction, and good luck trying to avoid that one vegan friend of yours who has suddenly taken an intense interest in your health and well-being (I know because I’ve been that friend a time or two).

Vegan is Fine for Everyone
I was in the shower this morning (not an image you want in your head I know) and I read the side of my Lacura Shower Gel that I got from Aldi and it said "Suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians". Then I thought if something is suitable for Vegans then it is also suitable for Vegetarians.

Vegan Gluten-Free Savory Muffins
I've been vegan for about three years, which came with its own challenges in the beginning. Then I met my SO, who developed an allergy to anything with wheat. From then on, I struggled for a while with baking something that is both vegan and gluten-free.

The Vegan Celebrity Revolution
It’s not so long ago that being a vegan was a rarity. Today, the plant-based diet is more mainstream than it’s ever been. For example, in the UK the number of vegans quadrupled between 2014 and 2019, and in 2020, one survey found that around 1.1 million people across the nation had adopted the diet. That number is only expected to grow, and by 2025, it is expected that a quarter of the British population will be vegan.

Blogging For A Plant-Based Future
I was a late and unlikely convert to foodism. Having grown up on Kraft Dinner, and fish sticks, canned pasta and other microwave quick fixes, I viewed food and eating as inherently utilitarian, something that one did purely out of need. Which is not to say I didn’t enjoy eating, but a nuanced appreciation of good food, quality ingredients and the significance of communal meals, were not a part of my culinary perspective. It took a drastic dietary shift for me to finally dig deeper and explore cooking and food culture.

Cruelty Free Delight
When going vegan the one food I especially missed was brownies. Luckily we are in the 21st century and everything and anything can be veganized . I am someone with a huge sweet tooth and a love for chocolate , so this recipe was definitely a game changer for me. Everyone I have ever made this recipe for vegan or none vegan have always enjoyed this recipe and went in for seconds. I always get compliments on how sweet , delicious and tasty my brownies are . I even used this recipe to reconcile my relationship with my twin sister after we got into a huge argument . She’s not vegan but she is still obsessed with these brownies . I have also made this recipe and brought it to meetings sharing it with friends and their children who have also loved this recipe as well. I would say this recipe is a great recipe to bring to birthday parties , holiday parties , family gatherings over to a friend's house for a gathering , or whatever occasion you name it these brownies work. Why these brownies are a crowd pleaser is because it is rich in flavour , easy to eat. You don’t really need any utensils. You can eat it with your hands and place it on a napkin which is why I enjoy baking these brownies because of how low maintenance this recipe is. They can serve up to 24 servings depending on how big you cut the pisces and most of the ingredients are usually stables we already have at home. This recipe is very cost efficient and in-expensive . You can also bake several quantities of recipe once you have the basic ingredients at home and the taste holds well over time. You can leave your extras in the fridge , bring it out whenever you crave it and it and it will still taste amazing. I discovered de de this recipe on a Saturday night , I was craving brownies and hadn’t eaten chocolate in a while. I looked up a couple of vegan brownie recipes on YouTube and this recipe came across. There's only one ingredient I have added to make this recipe more of my own as well as baking it with pure intentions and love but besides that the recipe remains the same. With that being said I am going to go ahead and share this recipe with you all.
