Who's Afraid Of A Blizzard? Sharing Snowcone Recipes & Winter Childhood Memories Over An Open Fire
I'm a big baby. Every time there's news of a blizzard I get anxious. Year after year. I'm not sure why because I grew up with them. But I guess I'm someone who has to get anxious about something. And it may as well be the freezing white-outs that will kill us all in our sleep. Yes?

The ALL-TIME Best Game Time Snack
In the past there was popcorn, then came along pickle chips, we have tried wings and we have even invented the buffalo chicken dip. On February 6th, 2021 during a late Saturday night while I laid asleep there was a cheesy storm brewing above and then lightning struck, I had a dream. It was a delicious, mouthwatering prophecy. When I had awoken from my sleep the next day, I wiped the drool from my mouth then I quickly got out of bed and got ready then immediately rushed to the grocery store. There was so much I needed to get done before 6:30 pm, before the BIG game. When I arrived at the grocery store, I had seen that it was packed, people were everywhere. Trying not to panic I quickly grabbed my cart and proceeded to wonder into the grocery store. The first thing that was on my mind was Tortilla chips, Nacho Cheese Doritos, and Spicy Nacho Doritos. I proceeded to walk around the grocery store to find the aisle the chips where in, when I came across the chip's aisle, I walked down the aisle and grabbed the chips I needed. After I grabbed the chips, I proceeded to walk out of the chip’s aisle, the next thing that wondered across my mind was hamburger meat. Take into fact that this hamburger was not just any hamburger out need to be LEAN and JUICY because this was the main ingredient. I rushed to the aisle that the hamburger was in so I could make sure that I was able to get the best quality burger there was. I had seen that the aisle was packed. I was waiting there as patiently as I could, but I was getting anxious because I knew I needed that hamburger. A minute goes by I am still patiently waiting for one more person to grab their hamburger, when the last person grabbed their hamburger, I sprinted to grab the hamburger. I grabbed 3 pounds of the Best-looking hamburger that I had seen. After I grabbed the hamburger, something else wondered across my mind, “THE CHEESE!” I said aloud to myself. Everyone in that aisle looked at me like a was crazy. Anyways I needed to find the cheese aisle there was a certain cheese that I was looking for it was called cheddar cheese. I searched around for that cheese and I panicked I could not seem to find the cheese I was looking for. A worker then came across me in the aisle and I asked him politely “excuse me, do you know where I can find the cheddar cheese? I can't seem to find it.” The worker politely responded “yes, ma’am the cheddar cheese is down here closer to the eggs.” I responded “Thank you! Sir.” “No problem.” the Woker had said. I grabbed 4 pounds of the cheddar cheese and proceeded to walk around the grocery store. I was walking and I had forgotten that I needed to grab soda, I walked down the soda aisle and I had grabbed 4 2 litters; 2 of them were Pepsi and 2 of the were Mountain Dew. I just reached for the last 2 litter and one more thing came across my mind, I put my head up looked around and then quickly rushed to find Sour Cream and the Taco seasoning. I grabbed 2 squirt bottles of the sour cream and 3 taco seasonings. After I grabbed everything, I needed I walked up to the register where I was checking out, I paid for my things; the worker handed me my receipt and then I was off to the car with excitement. I walked out of the grocery store; I had forgotten where I had parked my car “silly me.” I pulled the keys out of my pocket and hit the unlock button on my key chain, my car flashed its lights I was parked down a couple of cars from the grocery store entrance. I approached my car and unloaded my grocery then I walked over to where the carts were and out my cart back. I ran over to my car with joy, I opened the car door and shut it; then I turned my car on. I put my car in drive, I was on my way home. About 5 minutes later I arrived at my house where my husband, our kids and my cousin were, my cousin came down and helped with the grocery's. I got into the house took the grocery's out of the grocery bags and set them on the counter. My next step was to grab the aluminum foil out of my kitchen drawer and put aluminum foil all around my kitchen table. I finished putting the aluminum foil around my table then it was cooking time. I grabbed a nice size pan to cook the hamburger in, I cooked the hamburger until you could not see any pinker it is in. I drained all the juices that were in the pan and grabbed the 3 taco seasonings that were sitting in the counter and read the directions on the back, it said to put in water. I grabbed a cup and put water in the pan and then poured the taco seasonings in the pan. I waited for it to boil as I waited, I was stirring it. 10 minutes go by it was boiling; it was done and ready to go. I grabbed the tortilla chips, Nacho cheese Doritos and Spicy Nacho Dorito's of my kitchen counter and walked into my dining room, I opened the bags up and I poured them all over the table which had aluminum foil on it. I dumped all three at the same time. Next, I came back out to the kitchen and grabbed the hamburger that was in the pan and I poured the hamburger over the chips, I came back out to the kitchen and grabbed the cheddar cheese and the sour cream. I walked into the dining room and I sprinkled the cheese all over the chips and hamburger finally I squeezed the 2 bottles of sour cream all over the top. That was it I had made the best snack for the Super Bowl; we were all excited and could not wait to eat it. “It was game time!”

Food and therapy, because I care
I believe no one knows how much weight I lost in 2020. No one knows because I don’t know it myself as I don’t own a scale and last time I weighed myself I was 15 years old. However, I look at myself in the mirror and yeah, under my dark skin, I can see my ribs and my collarbones, all my jeans are now too large for my small legs and my breasts look a lot smaller. I’ve always had an athletic body and I never saw ribs so clearly and collarbones so sharply.

Best Veggies and Fruits to Make Food Coloring with!
Using fruits and veggies as food coloring is a brilliant idea. Not only does it taste better, but it is so much healthier for you! There are so many harsh chemicals in artificial dye. In some cases you can even taste the metallic and color in some of the foods. Some countries around the world have even banned and outlawed certain colors because of how bad they are for the human body.

Step by step guide to help you meal plan
I am a person that loves a plan. So I have always meal planned. I know that for some it is not that easy. It can be overwhelming as to where to start. Don't let yourself get overwhelmed with what to do, how to do it or where to start.

A Juicy Steak &... Peppermint Chocolate!?!
Nothing makes me happier than a nice juicy steak, seasoned to perfection. A delicacy that should only be cooked medium rare, but that’s neither here nor there, or maybe it is. Either way you slice it... it should never be sliced well done, you freaking lunatics. Observe perfection below.

Some Carnivore Dishes
This is a partial sampling of my mostly carnivore diet that I eat each week. The top picture up there is spicy beef meatballs stuffed with cheese my little sister made along with some shallots and smoked paprika and garlic. Baked at 350 degrees for I think a half hour. The beef is just regular ground beef, because the fat content is really important for your diet, especially if you’re a carnivore (or mostly carnivore).

How To Make All Restaurants Safer for Employees
Asking the Right Questions I have worked in many different restaurants. One day, I had become tired and annoyed about how the business I was in charge of was being run. I came to terms with this simple truth. I did the same thing day in and day out. I had mastered all the different stations, completing tasks at speeds that can only be considered superhuman, wearing my body down. I started doing things like flipping cups around and catching them to entertain myself. I created a better way to stuff French-fry boxes and learned to handle fry baskets one-handed. Even these gave way to boredom and my mind once again started to wander. My mind was always struggling to find the next new thing. I began to look around my job, and my brain commenced to ask questions, “How do I stop stray lids from falling back behind the drink station? How do I keep napkins, straws, and stray cups from being kicked under the counter?"

5 Reasons Why You Should Be Cooking More at Home
Home is where the heart is and so should your eating be. Over the years including this one, I have taken a few moments throughout the week and would just grab a bite to eat at my local fast food drive-thru or local take-out restaurant especially during my work lunch hour. Why? Because I felt it was easier, quicker and would also spice up my food palette a little bit if I ate more food with different ingredients in it than what I had in my refrigerator (at least so I thought). But since I've been on work furlough for the past few months AND was on previously work-from-home status due to COVID-19, I've realized that the only way I'm going to learn how to cook better and save more money is simply by taking more time out and consistently cook from home instead of letting everyone else cook for me everywhere else.

The Apple Cider Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree
Chapter 1: The Harbinger of Fall There is was on the shelf of the grocery store, packaged humbly in a translucent milk jug. Every year, that simple site excites me. Apple cider is, in my mind, the taste of pure fall, and a sure sign that my favorite season of the year is approaching. It's one of those few items that grocery stores only sell at one time of the year. In other words, apple cider is to fall as eggnog is to winter. And as much as I would love to enjoy that sweet taste all year long, there's something special about the exclusivity. If Christmas lights adorned houses all year long, they would no longer be Christmas lights, and if apple cider graced the shelves of grocery stores all throughout the year, it would lose its role as the harbinger of fall. There's a spark inside me each year the first time I see the apple cider jugs on the shelf.
