Quest. How do I describe the never-ending journey to the promised land? The search, the eternal longing for trust? What does it smell, taste, and feel like in my breasts, in my groin, and in my spirit?

Sometimes, darkness envelops me like a thick blanket, a crushing weight I cannot see anymore — I feel like the seed trying to break through the earth and reach for the sun and the sky.
I was born as sweet as cinnamon on an apple pie Irresistible like a chocolate chip cookie on Christmas Eve- I let you drown with wild delight in my scent.
Silence is my sustenance In the chaos of my body-mind with the shrill voices, Layers of sweetness reveal the truth of my soul when I dare to be still
I feel the longing to show you the beauty that’s under my skin — Invisible to you if you are asleep in a dream— Can you feel it? Or are you afraid?
The other day, I spent time in the woods Greetings — I bow to you, old friends! Reunited, long at last Breathing in unison with the Earth
Pearl — Daughter of the Moon She shimmers Soft and indestructible, lost at Sea by Aphrodite— The Knowing Veiled by Forgetfulness —
I was not suicidal. I was a caretaker — it was urgent, it was immediate, and there was no end in sight— Of course, I stepped up!
Tis’ the end of the road — burned out to the core, I could not go on anymore — Dissolved into a puddle of nothingness What was left felt hollow and grey —
My real name is a whisper, for it is a SECRET it’s the cloak of nature; you can hear me in the fire, the water, and the air,

“Accept the things you cannot change. Have the courage to change the things you can… And have the wisdom to know the difference.” ― Nora Allen
Sometimes, I need to be without words and feel myself in the quiet spaces between the worlds the pause the void the no-thing-ness
