Can you hear me?

My real name is a whisper, for it is a SECRET

it’s the cloak of nature; you can hear me in the fire, the water, and the air,

The salty taste of the clay —

The sweetness of the rotting flesh of hollow trees — the bones of the earth

and the moss where the fairies live

My name is etched in the roots —

The fire gods are roaring from the volcano,

offering the chalice of red-hot lava

The clouds form an OH, and whoosh, I am yawning at you with my dragon breath,

searing your skin.

I blow in the wind and leap like thunder from the ocean;

my waves crash into the land, and the mist caresses the shore.

I am the butterfly, the lily, the pond, and the tadpole,

Always becoming, morphing, and changing

The never-ending cycle of death and rebirth

Kali is a complex symbol who is both feared and revered. She is associated with opposing forces, such as destruction and death, as well as creation and salvation. Kali can be seen as a reminder of death’s inevitability, which can encourage acceptance and reduce fear. She can also be interpreted as a constant creator, taking life to give new life, and is often called upon during disasters and epidemics. Kali is also a symbol of Mother Nature, representing the creation of life and the universe and embodying Shakti, which is feminine energy, creativity, and fertility.
