Trees speak

The other day, I spent time in the woods

Greetings — I bow to you, old friends!

Reunited, long at last

Breathing in unison with the Earth

My Heartbeat gets Vast

I had forgotten that I was one with the moss and the trees

Fairy twinkles

Nectar drips into my soul from tree sap, ants, and ferns

Silence —

Even the birds are praying

Song of the wind, the beetles, the water.

Sun kisses Earth, tickling the velvet carpet of leaves and pine cones,

Caressing my feet.

Time fades away,

A deer meets my gaze behind the mud in the creek, and she’s smiling

Trees whisper to me-

Here, here,

You are home —

Heaven on Earth!
