Infanticide
My intent on writing this article is to share my research. This topic would have never crossed my mind had it not been for my utter shock and disbelief, when in the Presidential debate between former President Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris, on the topic of abortion, there was a statement made by Conservative Trump in regard to "babies being executed" and "laughed off" followed by vehement denials (both by Harris AND so-called "fact checked" ABC moderator, Linsey Davis.)

What we Value
Election times and political divides and "unrest" cause me (and most) of Americans severe anxiety. That's because we are all different and "feel" like something is being taken away from us or that some great harm will come to us should "the other" people "win."

Debate Thoughts
Tomorrow night is the first presidential debate between two people who are polar opposites by any stretch of the imagination. One is a man and the other a woman. One is Caucasian by ethnicity and the other is not. One is Conservative and one is Liberal. One has led the country before and one has followed an appointed head of state.

A Minor Inconvenience. Top Story - September 2024.
Destinations and the reasons for them differ immeasurably. But plans of how people arrive to them are mostly made because of financial means. But not always. Sometimes it can be for convenience, time restraint, or even aerophobia/ fear of flying. For whatever the reason, Janie found herself travelling on the same Greyhound bus ride that night as the two elderly women she watched from the seat she had taken behind theirs. They looked to both be grandmothers.

I Just Came for the Coffee
I had time to waste in between my lectures. I wanted to get off campus and find a nook where I could relax. I thought it was a good idea. I needed a quick pick me up and a good cup of strong coffee with lots of sugar seemed to be calling my name. I'm sure you've probably been to such a well-known local establishment where you over-pay to enjoy an entitled swirl, too?

Stuffing It
My alarm went off at 8am. I would have continued sleeping, but there were three pressing issues to attend to. First, I would remind my son to get up for his workday. He's grown and I only do this as a safeguard for him as a courtesy to his efforts. I don't mind. If anyone wants to better themselves and their family, I'm all for that.
