Tory Story
Having been enthralled with genealogy and my DNA results, I became a master sleuth at hunting for my ancestors and tracking down their stories. I wanted to know why they came to America, their background information, and what they accomplished. As I did, a vivid textbook of American history was compiled. It was my history. My facts.

It's Just Not Fun
The pain is just not going to be ignored. It won't allow me to lift my arms, so my range of motion is not taken for granted, either. A long, good sleep is something I long for. But every surface where my arms and shoulders and hips land, causes me to wince. Now, as I type, my fingers and hands remind me that they hurt, too. Fibromyalgia, I hate you!

Caudle: Warm Fuzzies
What is the Meaning of Caudle? Merriam-Webster says it is: a drink (as for invalids) usually of warm ale or wine mixed with bread or gruel, eggs, sugar, and spices. (I had never heard of this concoction. I'm thinking that eggnog was probably made to use as a caudle ) But...I was intrigued by the concept of it all, especially after reading all about the history of the associations with the word, "caudle!"

Who is Fooling Who?
I told you everything you wanted to hear. Now I can't understand why in the blue blazes you are angry with me. I doted on every word you shared with me, didn't I? I gave you positive feedback and never once criticized you. In fact, I remained totally objective and you even commented that I was a wonderful listener.

The Keeper of the Calm
In each family there seems to be that one person who holds the group together; the glue, the cornerstone, the core, the go-to person when life gets tough. They are the one that calms the storms of life, the ones that bring good common sense and humor when needed. They are the ones that you feel the "safest" with, somehow. The ones we look up to and trust.
