The Truth Behind The Joker
I remember that in the original Batman series, my favorite version of The Joker was portrayed by Cesar Romero. When Jack Nicholson unveiled his version it made me cringe and I won’t even say how horrified I was to see the next Joker portrayed by Heath Ledger. What a lot of people don’t know is that this notorious Jokster or laughing villain can be traced back to a silent film character from the late 1920s that was inspired by a Victor Hugo novel that was published in 1869.

Life After Happily Ever After Lady and the Tramp
Disney has given everyone especially children great joy with their animated movies. However, my curious writer’s mind always wanted to know – Did everyone really live happily ever after? I have written some poetic stories inspired by Disney animated films about what could have happened if the story had continued. The one I wrote about Snow White “The Return of the Evil Queen” I entered in a challenge so the link is given below. The links to the other stories I have written are posted below.

Off to Munchkin Land
Ever since I saw the movie “The Wizard of Oz” I was ready to head off to Munchkin land. Why? You probably want to know. Well if you remember it was such a colorful and sunny land. All those darling munchkins and they all sang and danced. I would probably open up a diner for them and live happily ever after away from this crazy and weird world. After all, if I get a bit bored I can always head off to the Emerald City for some entertainment. They do have that interesting horse of a different color there. The words and music for this wonderful and delightful movie were by E.Y. “Yip” Harburg and Harold Arlen.
