2025 Favourites
Favorite things about 2025. For me I'm still in 2025 - it hasn't hit me yet that we are in the new year. Perhaps there are things I haven't let go of yet. Perhaps after this journal entry. In any case I wanted to share some of my favorite things I did in 2025. For me it was year of travel. I don't think I ever travelled almost every month in a year. So damn blessed.

November 2nd 2024. It was a typical Saturday morning. My day started with me sleeping in, after working a long Friday night shift. I am grateful for that privilege of maximizing rest at the start of my weekend.

Living in my parents basement
Never have I thought that I would be living in my parents basement at 27 years old. To me it's a bit embarrassing, if I'm admitting honestly. I went from living in a 2 bedroom apartment with my partner to moving to my parents basement.

Staging an apartment
Its good to be back on vocal. I have not written here in ages. It's the end of the year. What better way than to write. Thank you for those of you who read my thoughts and to those who are new:) I love a good read, and reading peoples experiences, as we are all so unique and have so much to share and learn from each other. Anyways, a concept today or idea that I thought of is, staging an apartment. Hiding things, making things appear a certain way?

Things I'm learning from longboarding
Sunday — August 18th, 2024 So here I am, it’s Sunday, and I just returned from practicing a new skill- longboarding. I’m 27 years old and I’ve loved skateboards, longboards, rollerblades — just anything I guess that has wheels but doesn't require an engine. LOL.

My god, it’s August already. I don’t know about y’all, but I feel a shift happening. Maybe it’s because, I’m actually working on the goals, that I set at the start of the year? Watching the needle tick by
“So what do you think?”, he asked, after all the information he just shared with her. This included; the tour dates, the scheduling, training for her position, and the pay. Everything. It was high demand tour, which revolved around excellence, work ethic, persistence, energy. Showing up as your best self, night after night, and building memories that are unforgettable. But one minute depended on it, the longer you need, the faster the position goes to someone else, who wants it just as bad. She understood, she'd seen his work, and it was the best of the best.

She watches as the numbers increase, the time passes, as we say. She is at a loss for words. She needs to start her profressional dance practice for work later this evening, but she also just smoked weed and cleaned around the house. She enjoys order and tidiness, not necessarily meticulous, but everything has its place.
