Fungible
My Word: Fungible Meaning: interchangeable. My Connection: One of the things I have always loved about the English language, is just how many words can be (correctly) used interchangeably. When I've worked as a content writer, it is especially important if you are writing about a subject that has been written on a hundred times before, so you can avoid Google and other search engines flagging up supposed duplicate content. In poetry and fiction, it's great if you don't want to use the same word again and again.

To Tektal and Fellow Creators!. Top Story - November 2024.
To Tektal and many others, It may seem strange to address a letter of gratitude to someone, like yourself, Tektal, who until September 2023, did not exist. As merely an extraterrestrial figment of my imagination, you provided me with one of the most important moments of my writing career—an actual bona fide win in Vocal's Extraterrestrial Challenge.

He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man. Content Warning.
For too long, I’d led a life many would consider normal. Thanks to my parents, I’d knuckled down and graduated from university with a first in Economics. Which secured me a job in a large investment bank in the city. Tick tock, life went like clockwork.

A Letter To You
Dear You, I wanted to thank you for all you’ve done for us. You carry so much—worries, memories, the weight of past regrets and future anxieties—and I know it’s heavy. But through it all, I’m grateful for your commitment to keep us moving forward, even when things have been tough.

Dear Ruth
Dear Ruth, You have always been and will always be my favourite. The most important human being in my life. From the first time we met online to the first time we met in person and then for the 22 years we have spent together, I am so grateful to have you as a friend and wife. The mother of my children and my closest confidante.
