Thank You For Saving My Life. Content Warning.
Dear NHS Thank you so much for making sure that I am here today to write this letter. In my early life, you saw over my birth and were there when I needed an appendectomy at the age of six. Many years later you would do the same for my dad who had driven home from London with a burst appendix, and during treatment, he found out he was allergic to penicillin and suffered major hallucinations but, thanks to you, he is still here today.

Touch
To feel the touch of silk on your fingers, and the beautiful feel of a purring cat's fur. The delicacy of a butterfly's wings to make you feel you are in a faerie realm. The touch from the fingertips of someone who loves you, that you return and feel the electricity flow through the both of you that you do not want to stop. The feel of linen clothes on a summer day, and the sheets on your bed on a morning when you don't have to get up for work. The fur of a pet that comes to show their love and be close to you. The touch of a beautiful flower petal, releasing the aroma and scent that raises your spirit, with the natural perfume. Think of every beautiful touch in your life, and let them all touch your soul.

I Don't Know What To Say. Content Warning.
Introduction I have no words for what happened. I did not see it coming, because I knew how it would destroy the lives of so many close friends. I can't find anything about this dark day. I always want to be positive and raise people's spirits but I am struggling today.

Introduction I was just thinking of all the artists I know, as well as writers, and though none of them are nationally famous, thanks to being able to share pieces like this on Vocal I can give a little shout-out to them. This will be mainly visual artists.

A Fallen Cross
Introduction Today I saw a fallen cross. I thought I would write a short story Inspired by it. A Fallen Cross When this cross was erected it was to remember someone who had left this world. They would be remembered forever, their name and achievements carved in stone and placed on a cross.

I Just Can't Be Happy Today... Well Actually I Can, We All Can
Introduction This is the second Seven Days In Excavation From 2014 this weekend which is very unusual but thought it was worth sharing on Vocal, just about how we can find happiness even when we don't feel a hundred per cent.

There Can Only Be One
Introduction This is for L.C. SchΓ€fer's November Challenge which you can find out about here. This is a piece of fiction, if you want to take it that way, but I think most of you won't. There may be a poem that comes from this prompt but this has to be fiction.

To Set Examples And Help People Out
Introduction These are just a few pointers on how I write, and get people to read my stories and help with the administration of the Vocal Social Society. I also help with two other Vocal Facebook groups but they are very much backseat roles. I include a poem with some of my favourite Facebook Groups in the conclusion to this place.
