The Perils Of A Long Distance Love
You tell each other you love each other on the phone, every time, but you always feel this will be the last time. You may only be separated by twenty feet of tarmac, just across the road, but it may as well be the distance between the poles.

Introduction This is based on the concept that if you tell someone what they should do, then they only do it to keep you quiet, so you have to give them gentle nudges to make them see the error of their ways. Admittedly, there are times when no amount of nudging works, and you have to come out with those words, but then you can't really trust them to keep on the right path.

Four Years On Vocal
Introduction I started on Vocal over four years ago with this piece, although it seemed to me the focus was on fiction and poetry, two things I had not really touched since school, although there were other "communities" which I did not explore for a while (I have now posted in every community).

I Am A Winner
Introduction I joined Vocal for the big prize money. That never happened. I have two challenge placements, an "honourable" mention, some Top Stories and a couple of Resource pieces, but Vocal and a lot of creators see me as a thorn in Vocal's side.
