Even Free Users Can Edit Their Published Stories
Something I Discovered When I Found The Three Thousand Story Limit On Vocal

Introduction
Around two months ago, I couldn't publish on Vocal, so I had to use my free backup account to publish, and I documented some of it here:
One of the things I really missed was Quickedit, which allows us to edit our published stories if we are a Vocal+ Creator, and I documented that here:
The music is "I Can Do It" by The Rubettes, which is appropriate for this short tip piece.
Editing For All

I only had a few stories on that account because some were a bit naughty, but I published one and there was a spelling mistake, and I didn't want to pay for another account and remembered we used to be able to request our stories to be reset to draft by sending and email, raising a ticket and waiting for Vocal to do their stuff.
Then I noticed the three dots at the end of the stories on the Vocal Published Stories list. One of the options is "Revert To Draft", and that allows you to edit your story whether you are a Vocal+ member or not.
The only issue for me is that you can only do it from the Published Stories List, so if you want to find an old story to resurrect, change and republish, it is a pain as they are not properly dated in the list, that is only in the stats, and you cannot "Revert To Draft" from the stats.
Also, there is an issue that some stories develop a fault and then give you the red screen of death, so if your story is on that page, it's a ticket you need.

I used an example of the "Stories I Liked", but the error is for the same reason.
I know it's a bit more convoluted than QuickEdit, but if you don't have QuickEdit then it is an option.

Oh wow, I had no idea about this! As a free user, I thought I was doomed, lol. This was so helpful, thank you. But another downside is, if I revert back to drafts, make the edit, and hit publish again, then it would appear in everyone's notifications and I don't wanna annoy anyone that way
Well, now. hmmm. That's the main reason I pay for Vocal.
Wonderful info! Thx 4 sharing!
That was a crazy glitch. Good thing you reported it and they fixed it. What would we do without you?
I asked vocal right out will I be not allowed to publish when I get to three thousand? They said of course there is no three thousand limit? โฆ๏ธโฆ๏ธโฆ๏ธ
