If I Tell You

For The Vocal "Things You Can’t Say Out Loud" Challenge

Introduction

This is based on the concept that if you tell someone what they should do, then they only do it to keep you quiet, so you have to give them gentle nudges to make them see the error of their ways. Admittedly, there are times when no amount of nudging works, and you have to come out with those words, but then you can't really trust them to keep on the right path.

I have used the sonnet form for this one.

The music is "Trust" by The Cure from the album "Wish"

If I Tell You

I Want You To Be A Good Person

But Many Things That You Do Are Wrong

Can't Say That You Act Like A Moron

The Things You Do Just Do Not Belong

πŸš¨πŸ‘„πŸš¨

What I Can Say Is Treat Them Fairly

If I Say Just What Your Problem Is

That You're A Horrid Nasty Bully

And Then It Changed The Things That You Did

πŸš¨πŸ‘„πŸš¨

It Would Be Because Of What I Said

And That Is Not What I Want From You

The Slightest Thing Can Make You See Red

Can't Say These Words, Unfortunately True

πŸš¨πŸ‘„πŸš¨

You Are A Cheat And Spiteful Bully

So My Last Word To You Is Goodbye
