Selling My Music Collection On Discogs
Introduction Around 1980 music started to go digital and it was an excuse for record companies to resell existing product to music fans. There was still a physical copy of the music on CD and the commercial failure of DAT. I write a piece on music media, originally on Seven Days In, but it was repurposed as one of my first Vocal stories that you can read here.

Answer
Introduction This is another taken from my blog Seven Days In, which has just received its millionth visit. It is very amateur but it is a great way of sort of keeping a diary that will last as long as the internet does. This is the post to celebrate the millionth visit.

A Plagiaristic Poem Taken From A Picture Book
Introduction I often look through art and album cover books, I have a lot in my collection. I have done similar things in my Plagiaristic Poetry series before but they have a more random element and are based on my record collection.

Mechanical Animals
Introduction My writing takes two forms, creations and observations on things that exist where I just report about them. Sometimes the two blur a little and maybe that is what this is. I also like to share things with friends and my Vocal audience, that they may be unaware of and may actually find interesting.

Branded
Brief Intro This is sort of influenced by the videos and songs above. Tesco invading Denmark is satire but is becoming closer to reality. This is what might happen in globalization reaches one possible conclusion and brands buy out governments and take over countries. Let's face it many politicians are owned by corporations and "brands".

The Thin Ones
It is dark and raining. The wind blows a rogue hanging wire against the metal lamp post making it sing like a muffled bell. I was out late, I don't know why, but I always find that sound so eerie, like something bad is going to happen.

Classical Ruination
Introduction This was getting a few reads on Seven Days In and I thought I could turn it into a sort of playlist of modernish songs and the classical pieces that they were lifted from. I will start with the Apollo 100 take on Bach's "Jesu Joy Of Man's Desire" simply retitled "Joy" but it is a favourite piece of mine, but this does give you the opportunity to compare.
