Introduction I am feeling very lazy as I saw that this piece was getting a lot of attention. Seven Days In now has a million and twenty thousand visits and is still on course for its first hundred thousand visit month. It is essentially a diaristic log of the books I am reading and a few other observations.

Introduction This is a review I did of a favourite Todd Rundgren album six years ago on Seven Days In. It is a brilliant eclectic album (like most of his are) and was something I was listening to on my walks using different software to measure how far I had walked.

The Problem People get older. That's a fact. In the past people wanted to be able to do something, be a spaceman, be a doctor, be a builder, they wanted the ability to do something useful. They wanted to be able to make society better in whatever way they could and, ideally get some reward for it. They also wanted to progress in whatever sphere they had chosen to practice and learn their skills.

A Presidential Playlist
Introduction On Twitter Dave Gedge of the band The Wedding Present and I follow each other and he has a new album out. One of my favourite Wedding Present Somgs is "Kennedy" with that line "Too Much Apple Pie" and I thought I wonder if I could put together a playlist of at least a half-dozen songs relating to presidents, or their names. So this may go down in flames or it might be absolutely brilliant.

The Car Park
He never wanted to go to the MegaMall but his girlfriend had asked him to go and buy her some make-up from the MegaChemist there. Every shop and supplier in the Mall was called Mega something, as though that made them any better than your average high street shop.
