Due to the inspiration of my friend and fellow writer Courtney Capone and all the admins for her Facebook group Vocal Writers Sharing Community, all of us were paired up (in a game called, “Not My Shoes,”) to create interviews with the intention of showcasing talents and our diversity in writing and the arts.

Set in modern day New York, the year is 2021, and an aging Jewish comedian is in his apartment. The dewy dawn has arrived and it is 6:21 in the morning. He had a very strange dream last night. He makes fresh coffee and adds too much cream, spilling some on his counter. He cleans it up, and sighs.

The Howard Financial Group, LLC, was created in 1997, by Frank Howard’s father George Howard, mostly invested in stocks and bonds, loans and mortgages, leases, and insurance policies. George was old-fashioned, but kept up with financial trends and overall policy in regard to laws and regulations for his very straight-forward institution.
